Serena Williams says on social media that she gave birth to a baby girl named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. She says the baby was born on Sept. 1 and weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces. One posting also says about the newborn, "Grand Slam Titles: 1." The 35-year-old Williams won her 23rd Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open in January — while she was pregnant.

Two very smart, accomplished, well-paid, famous people had a beautiful child. Serena is a consummate athlete, works very hard at her sport, the daddy is a founder of Reddit, also doing very well in the world. The baby has two wonderful parents who actually want her. They are getting married. That in itself is cause for celebration.
Apparently, you don’t follow sports. Tennis is very popular. But certainly not with the people you describe. You are the on who is ignorant.

And my apologies for not taking note of the fact that it was there instead of breaking news.
But even so, and in spite of some of the other comments, I care less about the activities of these glitterati who assume their every fart and belch is of interest to the entire world...and become highly upset when they find that it is not.
