NFL players have defiantly reacted to President Donald Trump's criticism, with at least 100 players kneeling, sitting linking arms, giving black power salutes and not even showing up for the national anthem out of protest.

HL, Trump is testing we Deplorables, knowing we'll do the right thing.

It's actually our own fault for letting professional sports deteriorate over so many years.

No government, company, hospital -- or even lemonade stand -- can survive very long unless there's a moral force behind it.

If you take out of America its moral, God-loving people, even the Constitution cannot stand.  The righteous must make themselves heard.  We must stand up and make our institutions right again.

For decades, NFL football stood for something more than just a game.  It became a way for Americans to celebrate who we were -- strong, tough, selfless, determined champions.

But now that the athletes and owners have proven they harbor a disdain for their average fan, it feels like they've punched we working American in the gut as they cash their multi-million dollar paychecks.

It's time to do what Jesus did: knock over the money-changers' tables and throw out the Den of Thieves from God's house.

But let's take heart that now is the time of true patriot glory.  Boycotting the NFL and their sponsors is easy to do as long as we stick together as Americans.

This is one job Trump can't do alone.  He's our leader, and he just gave us the order to take action...

And remember: do not despair, for this is our moment of glory!

I answered my own question.

32 teams times 52 players is 1596 unless my calculator got wonky.

So, like, 1/16 of the players found it necessary to “virtue signal” their depravity and loathesome attitude to the world.

I despise them.

It’s actually 53 man roster and 7 on the practice squad. All the 7 players do is practice with the team, but do not play in actual games. They are there in case someone gets hurt.

So it’s 32 teams times 60 players = 1,920 total NFL players

At best, 2 Steelers showed up for the anthem (Villanueva and maybe Rothlisberg). I find it hard to believe that only 50 others around the league knelt, sat, or stayed inside.

A HUNDRED NFL stars contribute to the decline of NFL and pro sports in general. These guys are burdened with too much money and are trying to get their incomes reduced by reducing the income of the Leagues.
