ESPN suspended Hill for calling for a boycott of the Dallas Cowboys’ advertisers after Cowboys owner Jerry Jones threatened to bench any player who kneeled during the anthem. Hill’s boycott was her second violation of ESPN’s social media policies, the network said. She previously stirred controversy by calling President Trump a “white supremacist” on Twitter.
The backlash against ESPN for Hill’s suspension began almost immediately among left-wing activists and celebrities, many of whom used the hashtag “#BoycottESPN” on social media.

A Leftist boycott? Amusing. The Left is all sound and fury but few people will actually do what they want.
This SJW movement is about throwing off ALL rules of order. ESPN and the nfl have awoken to the reality that their network along with the entire nfl league, has an incurable case of SELF INDUCED FINANCIAL EBOLA and are hemorrhaging money out of every conceivable orafice to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars a week with no way out and no end in sight.
The once financially lucrative ESPN and nfl are circling the toilet bowl and are quickly becoming totally irrelevant and utterly worthless.
On the other hand, we choose to STAND with Americans for America; we choose to "Live Free or Die", rather than "huddle up", "bend the knee" and subjugate ourselves, our families, and our beloved nation to the racist, socialist, PC tyranny and perverted ideology of ESPN and the National Felon League.

So because of their multi year liberal swing, from awarding Michael Sam and Caitlyn Jenner courage awards, firing conservatives, and supporting sports protests, they have lost millions of subscribers. And now this?
I think when cable sports got turned on...in the beginning, there was little competition. Today, with various options...the ESPN crowd has to fill up ‘talk-space’ and hype people up on something besides sports. Probably a third of the people watching prime-time ESPN shows...are watching to see what people like Jemele Hill is going to outrageously say next. Kinda like going to a wrestling event to watch fake action.
I would agree with you that a sports channel ought to be pure 100-percent sports. I would also imagine that the network worded this suspension in a way that it’s her one and only warning...when she does this again in three or four months...they will just let her go.
