You are taught in hunting class you do not take the shot shoot unless you can positively identify the prey.

I was wondering the same thing. I’m amazed that it’s possible to cross over on to someone else’s land, kill them, and hold them responsible for not observing a particular season.

By ethical hunter : I mean the animal to be shot is within 300 yards and if a shot to the vitals can not be made. The hunter should not take the shot.
It does not matter how much money was spent to hunt, money spent DOES NOT EVER EQUAL MEAT IN THE FREEZER.
Most of the time the hunter comes home empty handed (9 of 10 hunts)
