Lookee, Lookee, thirty or forty years ago, the great state of Alabama marriage laws allowed for girls aged thirteen to sixteen could get married with parental approval. Girls of sixteen and older could marry without parent approval. Today the law states that girls sixteen to eighteen can get legally married with parental approval. Girls eighteen and older can marry without parent approval.
Knowing Alabama as well as I do, thousands of girls aged thirteen to sixteen dated with older men heavily, and got married during that time frame thirty and forty years ago!!!
So.....these young ladies accusing Judge Roy Moore could never have been abused, since all these woman accusers were of acceptable age to marry and, chose by their own free will, to date with Judge Moore, on numerous occasions, if that, in fact, actually happened.
If none of the abuse accusations ever occurred..."GAME OVER"...Ladies!!! And.....if they of their own free will, dated the Judge....Multiple times..."GAME OVER" also. Go Judge, Roy Moore!!! End of story!!!

And I am telling you from Oregon, that my 16 year old girlfriend dated a 30 year old man with her parent’s consent! My mother did not approve, and I could be friends with her any more. Deb married the man when we graduated in ‘76. Culture changes over time.

But all this stuff isn't designed to make Moore a criminal, but to make him a creepy old guy.
I don't know if it will cost him the election, but he's bound to lose a lot of respect at home and in DC (if he does get there).
By the was she was NOT pregnant at the time. They waited 4 yrs before having kids.
Looking up Leigh Corfman shows a birthdate of May 1964. That would make her 14/15 in 1979. Went to public records on the internet.
I did a little digging and found that her mother was born in June 1946 so that means she was shy of 18 when Leigh was born.
Also her mother (Nancy Cooper Corfman Wells) married Leigh's father (Robert Ray Corfman) in Feb 1963. So Leigh's mother was only 16 when she married.

The one women who claims to have been touched (not raped or any sexual act), now appears to have been 17 years of age and not 14 as she claims.
She also has a history of bad life choices, been divorced three times and owed money to the IRS and arrested for some misdemeanor offenses. Not exactly credible.
Her other problem, is that she has accused three different pastors in three different congregations of sexual abuse. Charges were deemed not credible and thrown out.
So from what I can glean from these attacks, is that Moore did nothing illegal or wrong. Only the allegations and innuendo are being pushed by the Washington Compost and are made in such a way as to make it appear that Moore was involved in immoral, illegal and disgusting behavior.
Absolutely, no evidence, proof or witnesses are provided to support these gutter allegations. If this was a courtroom, the judge would have thrown the whole thing out of court as laughable by now.
Nice try GOP and Washington Compost but I think the astute voters of Alabama have seen right through this subterfuge.
It is an amateurish, feeble attempt to knock their own candidate out of the race and they have failed.
Now the truth has been revealed that the Washington elite are merely jealous that Moore could date women 14 years his junior without having to pay 5000 dollars a night for the privilegeWhoa! A gem of an observation, and one suspects there is more truth to this than not. A sure thread winner contender!
A few exclamation points might spruce up your tedious prose.
