President Donald Trump confirmed that he did intervene with China President Xi Jinping in the case of three UCLA basketball players who were arrested after shoplifting in China and those players are set to leave the country.
LiAngelo Ball, the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard Lonzo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, were arrested last Tuesday for allegedly stealing from a Louis Vuitton store next to the team's hotel in Hangzhou before their season opener against Georgia Tech.

The headlines in Liberalville will be “In show of true character Trump forces Chinese to let three criminals go.” Attack Trump all you want but this is good politics that will be a win - win as the media will be forced to credit Trump. I GUARANTEE this is NOT the first time these punks have gone on a crime spree stealing stuff. Check their Rooms and Houses, I will bet my last Nickel they are full of Contraband.
I would also bet that the parents and friends of these punks Know All about their proclivity to STEAL PEOPLES STUFF!
I would like to have seen them get a taste of punishment. I don’t mean 3 years, but something to humble them a little, to make them think twice before shoplifting again, and to make them realize that they are darn lucky to live in the U.S.
Obama consistently left Americans to rot, tortured and murdered, in third world hell holes. He was a genuinely evil president.
For the Chinese, these guys were simply a prop to leverage a concession or two during negotiations.

No, it’s from Sports illustrated, which is in the AOL umbrella, and quotes a WSJ article. WSJ is breaking the news.
This makes it a UCLA decision now. Even if they are expelled there will be other schools lining up to give them a second chance. IF this is their first violations they will be treated just like all the other first time offenders in society . . .

That’s what I thought too. There’s a high likelihood they will be very ungracious about being back on American soil. I’d frankly be surprised if all 3 of them even thank Trump for saving their butts.
They’ll probably criticize Trump for taking so long.
Or claim that they were about to be freed via other channels.
Hopefully they can get out of LAX without stealing anything. Only because they probably won’t be by the shops.
