CHICAGO (CBS) — A cannabis-infused upscale supper club, opening in Chicago on Dec. 4, has already received over 1,000 reservation inquiries.

Guests can expect a six-course cannabis-infused meal and beverages, including a cannabis cocktail.

The event was started by Herbal Notes, a California-based company. They work to raise awareness of the benefits of cannabis by hosting culinary cannabis experiences.

“I was hoping to hit 20 people. In 48 hours, I had 40,” said Manny Mendoza, a Chicago native from Pilsen. Mendoza is a chef and the founder of Herbal Notes.

He says the event will be focused on creating an atmosphere of conversation.

“Let’s do more than just get together and smoke weed and get high. We want to do so much more than that,” said Mendoza

That's an infinite loop waiting to execute.

I read the other day about a restaurant in Paris that would be offering nude dining. So if a place could have nude dining and pot-laced food, that would really be something. /s

Here in Washington State we have pot stores all over the place. We hate to go out at night because if we do we see more and more erratic drivers.

It used to be just the boozers, but now we have the additional ones either just high on pot or impaired on both.

My wife and I think that the social cost was totally ignored because the politicians just wanted more tax money to spend on social justice b.s.

What is it with my fellow Americans that they need to be high much of the time?

Self lobotomizing fools. Take stupid drugs, win stupid prizes.

Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing

At this point there are no metrics to define and control levels of impairment re pot......so this will be self-solving when the restaurants get sued to the moon for traffic fatalities.

A friend in enforcement tells us that since pot is an all cash business (shops can’t use financial institutions), that it makes the perfect cover for cartels, so cartel traffic is actually increasing in states that have legalized pot

Habitual pot smokers = LOSERS. That includes ingesting cannabis too.

Having never used weed, I have to ask does it really give dopers the munchies?

Most known dopers I have seen are skinny & emaciated.

That’s what I was wondering, I saw a travel agent online booking trips to where weed is legal.

“That’s an infinite loop waiting to execute.”

This is literally the plot to a movie I saw on Netflix about two guys who want to open a chili restaurant with weed in the chili called “The Chili Pot”. Eat the chili, get high, get the munchies, buy more chili, repeat!

“So if a place could have nude dining and pot-laced food, that would really be something.”

Yeah, man, but like, I can get high naked in my own house, why bother to get dressed and go out to just get undressed again??? That takes too much motivation!
