Please list the best Christmas movies.
A Christmas Carol 1951, A Christmas Carol 1938, A Miracle on 34th Street, and The Bishop's Wife are great classic Christmas movies.
A Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer are great animated Christmas movies.
A Christmas Prince, Christmas in Boston, and A Boyfriend for Christmas, though fluff, are friendly Christmas movies of the last 15 years.

Gremlins
If you like Its A Wonderful Life, I guarantee you’ll like The Bishop’s Wife.
I’ll watch White Christmas today.
Mr. Krueger’s Christmas
Jimmy Stewart, TV Short
5 stars
The 1955 version of “We’re No Angels”.
Misfire. 34th was ok, Wonderful Life, absolute crap. I dont care how cheap it was to broadcast, Im not going to associate/confuse my holiday emotions with the repetitive subjection to that garbage.
I have to watch that every year. Clark hanging Christmas Lights on the ladder makes me laugh every time.
Die Hard and The Long Kiss Goodnight.
“We’re gonna press on, and we’re gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny ******* Kaye!”
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C4Gb85qoIQQ Charming movie from 1999....If You Believe with young Hayden Pannittiere.
Christmas Story: I could have sworn that that was home footage though I dont remember dressing like that. It deserved to get “a major award”.
Christmas in Connecticut.
Funny, witty, sophisticated and fun in only the way a post war film can be. Watch it nearly every year.
Barbara Stanwyck was at her best in that.
White Christmas
If Die Hard is on your list, consider Running Scared, 1986 (Billy Cristal and Gregory Hines).
The NappyOne
Love the Bishop’s Wife, both versions that I am aware of, the 40’s one and the one shot in the nineties with a black ensemble.
Two films starring John Wayne that you don’t normally thing of as Christmas movies: 3 Godfathers and Donovan’s Reef.
Stanwick was at her best, and although not conventionally beautiful, the camera loved her. I love the faces of the actors in the older films.
Meet Me in St. Louis
