I’ll do my budget and forecast for the next couple of weeks and if the checkbook says so, something higher end for me which is a macro lens for my GH4.
When I transitioned to Lumix for 4K, I missed my Canon 100mm fixed macro the most.
If the picture isn’t so rosy, a radiator and support piece for the now crankable 79 K5. The reman quadrajet from Amazon looks really good. Settings wise it is really close.

Friday I’m going attempt some guerilla body repair on the dent and retangular gash someone gave me last month. I don’t know where or when exactly.
Eventually I will have a few things to paint. Bodywork is a major labor thing and takes a lot of patience.
I got 4 days off of work, which is big. Also some casual shirts I really wanted, a couple of massage gift cards, a couple JoAnn Fabrics gift cards, some socks I needed, 2 lovely sweaters, cashews (YUM). A calendar with pictures of the 4 grandchildren for each month. Best part was time with the family, and some time to sew (should have been doing house cleaning chores...).
Many other intangibles to celebrate this year! Slightly lower health insurance premiums for 2018, very slightly lower real estate taxes for 2018, a little more income to keep instead of paying in income taxes...
Things seem much more promising than they did 18 months ago, for sure! This seems to be related to Making America Great Again!
