Sincere thanks.
Your better half’s been screwing up your Christmas gifts for 25 years? That’s too bad.
Sarge, have you thought about wearing one of those strappy W.B. tee shirts a few times?
Say, next year in late November. And start spreading your lats in a door frame, give her hard looks—maybe even say things like, “You better not screw up my gifts this year” and then slowly pound on a wall.
Cut out ads and/or e-mail her exact brands, styles and sizes.
I got a Savage Trophy Hunter in .308, jeweled bolt, reminds me of my Dad’s Winchester Model 70 but no pretty bluing or walnut furniture.
I got a wonderful year of President Donald J Trump Making America Great Again!
Oh, and watching the Democrats melt down over Supreme Court Neil Gorsich, the stock market skyrocketing, President Trump announcing moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, the Tax Bill passing and signing and so MUCH WINNING!!!!
A nice leather sectional sofa with recliners for the basement man cave. Mrs. Henkster got some nice clothes. The youngest son got a Nikon 3400 kit which made him very happy.
Read this a long time ago:
“The marriage of two givers can be a beautiful thing.”
Sounds like you are blessed. My wife gave me a nice gold tone wristwatch. I gave her an Australian opal pendant.
Guess we are both blessed.
My wife knocked mine out when I called her mother an old bat.
Say.....
You didn’t buy those teeth from a little dog, did you? Wearing one pair of black socks?
Does that 1968 Oldsmobile boat have a tiller or a steering wheel? From one car guy to another, enjoy it.
flu...still thrashing around with it...
otherwise...giftcards. They pretty much will take care of my golf league for 2018 plus a bushel full of other tee off times.
My son and his family gave my wife a basket of samples of paint\tile etc... they have provided the gift of a bathroom makeover. Pretty kewl.
Alpaca socks are the best !
A cold.

Ha, I got one of those too :(
Made Christmas a lot less fun...New Year’s Eve not looking too promising as I am still under weather :(
However, my favorite gift: Daughter gave me a wonderful tote bag from a company called Sword and Plough, a Veteran-owned company that hires vets, repurposes military materials to make them into items for civilian use...purses, travel bags, backpacks totes, key fobs, spent brass jewelry ;), etc.. Also, 10% of proceeds go to veteran organizations...
Kind of a nice story, so I am sharing the info:

BTW, the stuff is not cheap, but if anyone is interested in spending some Christmas cash on one of Sword and Plough items, daughter’s friend’s a ranger and gets a discount and points, so I will provide a promocode if you freepmail me.
Santa brought me a garbage disposal and charged it to my CC.
You got a leather sofa and recliners?
Did I tell you I got socks? They are black. Not leather, though.
You know, a lot of people like big, fancy Christmas presents.
But not me.
Give me black socks.
Ooohhh....who am I trying to kid?
Maybe if I hadn’t called the wife’s mother an old bat.
But, dang it, they could have used her in prehistoric baseball games, the old bat.
A 10” Hitachi chop (compound miter) saw, socks, a very nice sweater, and best of all, the love of my family. We talked about Christ and what it all means. They got a bunch of stuff..X Box this, Ninja that...all fun stuff. Nothing as good as knowing my kids are healthy, and my wife could’ve done better but doesn’t care a whit about it. She takes me as I am.
Well, Alpaca my socks in the suitcase if I go anywhere!
Android watch.
Dual front/rear dash cam.
Love and time with my parents. Best gift ever.
Gift cards to sewing notion site, autobiography by Nancy Zieman, candy, sweet smelling lotion and an orchid. Two or three gift cards to restaurants to use for work. We do not give high priced gifts.
Tough week so far, my dad died yesterday morning.
A grand son.
I asked my four cats, and they said 'no'.
A cold.
