SHELBURNE, Vt. (AP) — Police say a man in Vermont has used a machete to attack a woman in her 70s as she delivered meals to a motel being used as emergency housing for the homeless.
WCAX-TV reports 32-year-old Burlington resident Abukar Ibrahim is accused of attacking the 73-year-old Meals on Wheels volunteer who was dropping off meals at Harbor Place, which serves as a temporary emergency housing facility. The attack happened Friday in Shelburne.

On the town’s news page, they talk about one lone Councilman fighting for ONE YEAR to keep this former motel from being bought by a nonprofit that ‘serves homeless people.’ He said, “It is no longer a motel serving the public, but a social welfare site.’ He lost. Might be Round Two is about to start up - he’ll have a lot more backing, perhaps.
I hope Los Angeles doesn’t get this ‘great idea’ of turning motels into homeless shelters. The idiot Mayor has as much as invited up to 60,000 homeless folks to live here, on us - so far at the (used to be lovely) park near downtown. He’s probably hoping to be Governor, and a perfect match for Moonbeam he would be.

The policy needs to be changed so that if one family member breaks the law IN ANY WAY, the entire family gets deported back to their shithole immediately. That way, they will somewhat try to police themselves so they won’t lose all of their free ride on hard working American’s backs so they can continue to live a pathetic existence hating America on our dimes.
