Ruger recently released RUGER® PC CARBINE which is 9mm Luger and uses common Ruger and Glock magazines.
I want!!
They are OK for short distance shooting. I wouldn’t trade my AK in. :-)
Your wish is their command..

Yeah I gots Ruger stuff but wait till you have to strip them down for maintenance. My wife used my Mk1 for her CCL class. They were required to leave the handguns on the firing line while they taking instruction. It was raining.
I was sure glad I didn't let her use my S&W M41, but taking the Ruger apart was a chore. Putting it back together was a nightmare. I never have gotten the hang of that with any of my Rugers except the single actions.
Agree, just go the next step and just get the mini-30, great piece.
Got this one. Barrel unscrews by hand. No problems so far. Takes 25-round Glock mags. Adjustable stock. Six bills.
If they eventually make it in 10mm Auto I’d be interested. 9mm is simply not enough power for what I’d have to shoot here in N. Idaho.

I need to do a YouTube video. I can do mine in seconds with my eyes shut. The main thing is to hold the gun barrel up when putting the latch/hammerspring housing in. This makes sure that the tang on the hammer falls in the spring housing.
By the way, the mag latch makes a good bottle opener.
I watched a video last night of 9 mm carbine at 440 yards. Its still carried quite a bit of umph.
Where I live it is heavily wooded. 75 yards would be a long shot. There are 4 legged creatures here with claws and teeth. I’ll stick with my Marlin 1894 .44 Mag lever gun until something better comes along.
Thanks. It’s been awhile since I looked at one.
Ruger sure has gone down hill since Bill Ruger died. He never would have allowed the production of a 9mm rifle.
Agree the Mk 1 was wizardry at times ...... now I use a sonic cleaner that cleans em better than I can if detail stripped pretty much. New Mark 4 22/45’s are a dream to break down and clean by hand. But invest in a sonic cleaner, I do firearms, carburetors, EGR’s, etcetera with one ......
If dropped on the edge of civilization I’d take a Ruger 77 Mark III bolt gun in 300 Win Mag, A Redhawk in 44 mag and a Mark 4 22/45. A lot of confidence in those three tools.......
Kit likes.
What is it?
They usually run $550-$600 on gunbroker.
For later.
