As the socialist government of dictator Nicolas Maduro continues to drive the nation toward complete collapse, a new study compiled by three universities shows that that vast majority of Venezuelans are literally starving at this point. It highlights why socialism fails...a centralized government, setting prices for products, determining how much should be produced and where it should be sent...IS A RECIPE FOR DISASTER.
But like the Leftist Perpetual Motion Ponzi Scheme that Socialism is, there is never a shortage of weak minds to embrace and advance it.

People of Venezuela brought the tragedy onto themselves by falling for the socialist propaganda. Socialism sounds good on paper, when everybody is told they will share the wealth of rich people. But it has not created prosperity anywhere because it goes against human nature, which requires incentive to work hard. Why work hard when you will get the same reward as those who work hard?

(Yes, caloric restriction CAN have health benefits. But malnutrition and starvation, not so much.)
