My favorite lyrics of all time:
Gliddy glub gloopy, nibby nabby noopy la, la, la, lo, lo
Sabba sibby sabba, nooby abba nabba, le, le, lo, lo
Tooby ooby walla, nooby abba naba
Early morning singing song
Can't beat that for musical inspiration!

Hehehe...I used to have a friend who was one of those guys who would deliberately mangle words and descriptions...and everyone seemed to pick up on it and ape him...
He called REO Speedwagon “REO Meat Wagon”...
He was always twisting up lyrics, Journey’s “Open Arms” became “...come to you with broken arms...”
He was a funny guy...he looked so much like Ric Ocasek of The Cars, and his name was “MIck” that people called him “Mick Ocasek”...
Those were fun times.

Bruce Springsteens abject toxic waste Oh, relief to hear someone else feels that way. I loved his first two somewhat introspective albums, "Asbury Park" and "E Street Shuffle." I went to see him several times in a high school auditorium and in tiny clubs at the Jersey shore hardly bigger than my living room, when he had David Sancious on the grand piano. But from the inception of "Born to Run" and the slamming beat and the six speakers each the size of sports cars stacked up beside the stage, I was done.
And of course, he subsequently started spewing his leftwing drool all over the place.
Still later, he revealed he suffers from depression. Duh! One listen to "Nebraska" made that clear.

That’s right. Stones last great album, “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll” was 1974.
Zeppelin crashed after 1976 (literally, Plant in wreck).

Karma Chameleon. If not the worst song then definitely the worst music video ever.I hadn't read your post before I posted almost the same thing word for word.

but Brand New Key? Junior High, 7th Grade typing class. The darned teacher put that stupid song on a record player and repeated it for the entire hour of class, the ENTIRE half year! She said it had the right rhythm to type by.
By the end of that half year and that class I not only completely detested that horrid song but I also detested typing.

Turning Japanese was a metaphor for the face you make when having sex. Don't know when I've laughed so loud!!
My cat makes that face when I scratch her back where the tail joins the backbone.
