DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Actress Charlize Theron says the idea of arming teachers after recent U.S. school shootings or “adding more guns” to the situation is “so outrageous.”

The South African says: “I have a very personal experience with gun violence. I lost my father to gun violence.”

Would she perhaps have rather had her mother and herself killed or seriously hurt? That’s a very strange circumstance to describe as having lost her father “to gun violence”.

Anyone see her in “Trail and Error”, where she was blowing up porcelain commodes with a pump shotgun...her line was, (paraphrasing) “it helps me handle stress”.

If you hate guns so much, girl, why did you consent to play that part? Oh, yeah...money takes precedence over principal for you libs.

The 323 deaths figure for American mentality “protection” of school children certainly needs to be updated.

Let her go into a primary school classroom during an intruder drill and explain to 7 and 8 year old babies why they are having to practice what to do if some psychopath decides to come in and try to kill them. And let her explain what she’d do if the shooter got into her classroom, what would she rather the teacher do- throw a stapler or eraser at the person??

*sigh* Celebrities... Is there ANYTHING they don’t know?

Hollywood is repulsive because its filled with repulsive people. We have people without values lecturing to us about values. Enough of the hypocrisy. —goldstategop

The United States has become a place where entertainers and professional athletes are mistaken for people of importance.

QUOTES by ROBERT A. HEINLEIN

Robert A. Heinlein Quotes and Sayings!:

“[T]here seems to have been an actual decline in rational thinking. The United States had become a place where entertainers and professional athletes were mistaken for people of importance. They were idolized and treated as leaders; their opinions were sought on everything and they took themselves just as seriously-after all, if an athlete is paid a million or more a year, he knows he is important ... so his opinions of foreign affairs and domestic policies must be important, too, even though he proves himself to be ignorant and sub-literate every time he/she opens his/her mouth.”

Is it because NEA members are too incompetent to handle a weapon, or so racist they would end up killing too many people of color?

She may be right.... There are way too many teachers unfit to wield pencils these days let alone guns. I would not want to see them armed with anything.

Teachers that are capable and responsibly are likely unwelcome in many schools as it is. They are a threat to marxist teachings. They would rather have indoctrination specialists. Just look at how many gleefully participated in marching kids to anti-gun rallies. It is a very sad state of affairs we have.

What I want from Charlize Theron has NOTHING to do with her opinions or what comes out of her mouth.

“I lost my father to gun violence.” She must be very pleased that he had nobody around who was armed and in position to protect him.
