GLENDALE, Wis. — An incorrect order at a Glendale McDonald's restaurant over the weekend led a customer to shove a teen employee into a fryer, police said.
It happened Sunday morning at the restaurant on Port Washington Road. The female customer was arrested Wednesday, Glendale police said.
"Instead of acting like most people would act, she lost it," Glendale Officer Todd Lynch said.
The surveillance video released to WISN 12 NEWS shows the customer receiving her order at the drive-thru window. Instead of receiving the bacon biscuit she wanted, the customer mistakenly received a sausage biscuit. She's seen tossing the bagged order through the window and onto a counter.
Another camera view shows the woman, again with the bag in hand, walking into the restaurant to speak with a manager, who Lynch said tried to correct the error.
"She gives her the order, she refunds her money 100 percent and gives her apologies, but apparently at this point it wasn't good enough for our suspect," Lynch said.
Video shows the customer corner the manager in the kitchen. When the teen worker tried to step in to help, the customer appears to shove the employee into a fryer. The teen employee is seen hitting her head before falling to the floor.

This perp does not consider for a moment the consequences of her actions. The jails are full of such people.

Tru dat. I was watching the show “The First 48 Hours”. The episode had three youths aged 19, 23 and 27 who robbed a mary jane dealer and shot him dead. They expressed no remorse for their actions nor concern for their potential punishment. They were convicted and all three sentenced to life in a Georgia prison w/o possibility of being paroled.
I live in a neighborhood with quite a bit of racial overlap. Local retail outlets, pharmacies and healthcare offices are staffed by pleasant, competent, educated black women.
I'm ashamed of FReepers who would jump to post a provoking racial generalization about this.

From an earlier article, the teen went to the ER, but was released with a minor injury.
Interesting that LE is going after the woman for "child abuse", the teen being 17 years old.
Over-charging to get her to plead down? Not that I have anything against them charging her to the hilt on assault, but is it reasonable to expect her know that an employee is not considered an adult.
OTOH, the perpess acted extremely childish in her tantrum...

I was less than a 1/4 mile away from where the Nuns Fire started and fought it all the first night and maintained my area for three weeks largely alone. Very quickly, that first night, in addition to the wind considerations, visibility was so poor that CDF aircraft and contractor aircraft were not in the air. As a former forward observer, I can verify there is nothing that could have flown and functioned in the manner you believe. I could not have called for air support in the conditions that existed. There is nothing to support you theory and I witnessed nothing of the nature of what you speak.

Yes cameras have changed everything, I ran McD's back in the seventies, a customer upset with not being able to get a sandwich the way he wanted flicked his cigarette at one of my fellow managers who then umped over the counter slugged the man and threw him out of the restaurant. We never heard another word, from him, the Owner, police or corporate.
If someone attacked one of my people like in this story they would have been on the ground and out, camera or no. The times they are a changin.
