In this eye opening and informative video we see how felines have taken over not only the Internet, but our homes, and of course, our lives. It points out that it is us that are obsessed with cats and not the other way round. This is a must see for any cat lover as it explains a lot about our relationship with cats and how that relationship has evolved.
I hate cats.
I have a cat. She’s ok. But my dogs are man’s best friends and I generally don’t like other people’s cats. So I find the title bogus.
I’m obsessed with German Shepherds.
I merely tolerate “cats”.
My cat does not like to be away from her humans even for a short time.
So I argue with the idea that cats are not obsessed with us.
In China, they really like cat.
My irrational love of cats has landed me with six. Rescued a feral female from the shop at work and later found ou5 she was preggo. Didn’t have the heart to relinquish them to be.warehoused at a ‘no kill’ shelter. So the ones I couldn’t adopt out stayed. Love them all.
I don’t think the lady in the video voted for Trump.
Folks that hate cats were rats in their last life!!!
We had a cat that merely tolerated dogs. Unless the dog barked at him. Then he jumped on their head & chased them down the street. Even German Shepards!
People who love cats and can read English have never read Robert Repino’s “Mort(e)”.

The friend that sent me this link is a VN vet - he was long-range recon & a tough guy. After the war he decided to go to vet school, as he loved animals. The only problem was that he loved them too much & had to get into another line of business for his own mental health. Anyway, he had this story from his school days. His class had to take a psychology course & one of the lecturers said the following:
“Ladies, if you’re boyfriend doesn’t like animals, get rid of him. If he likes dogs he’s probably okay. But if he loves cats, stalk him!”

Dogs have owners, cats manage owners. Would not have a cat except for the value as a mouser/ratter in the barn and exterior of the house.
Always think of a cat as being a “lizard brain” (embryologically speaking they have little to no cerebration capability, and are entirely reactive to light and movement with instinctive strike/attack or stalking). That is, a lizard with fur- sometimes cute because we say they are- self defining.
Dogs— pack animals, never forget. Domesticated wolves with the same pack ranking aspects within/without the home. Be alpha with them or you will be much less.
I have two cats. They’re nice, we’re friends, but I could easily live without them. They probably feel the same!
“The other white meat”. Pop always said (owing to his Asian military experiences in WWII and after) never eat at an asian restaurant that has no cats walking around it (at least in the Asian diaspora). And called stir fry-— “meow mix”. Humour.
