The pillow salesman had so much crack cocaine pounding through his bloodstream he hadn't slept for two weeks, he would later say. Even the drug dealers were counseling Mike Lindell to slow down.
It was March 2008, and the Minneapolis-area entrepreneur's life was in free fall. Marriage broken. House lost. Business - a company he started four years earlier called MyPillow - struggling. Two weeks into this particular hot-wired bender, Lindell went to his usual drug dealers for a fix. But the guys had already put word out on the street: no one sell to Lindell until he sleeps.
"They were three of the biggest dealers in the cities," Lindell recounted to the Salvation Army in 2015. "They refused to sell to me again. One of them tried babysitting me until I fell asleep."
Instead, he snuck outside to score elsewhere. But no one wanted his business. Lindell waved around a $100 bill for $5 worth of crack. Nothing. He tried to hide his distinct mustache behind his hand. No luck.
"I get back to the apartment, and [the dealer] is sitting there, and he goes, 'How'd that work out for you?'" Lindell explained to CNBC last September. His dealer picked up Lindell's phone and snapped a photo of the addict's face - walking dead skin tone, disheveled hair, mug shot scowl. It was a memento of what it looked like at rock bottom.
Lindell got clean the next year, and powered ahead with MyPillow, turning an idea plucked from a dream into a successful international business claiming nearly 30 million sales. For years he struggled against addiction and long business odds. Today, Lindell finds himself up against a political backlash.

1. I don’t think the CNN/MSLSD demographic can afford 50 dollar pillows. Most of them probably don’t sleep in the same bed too many nights in a row, anyhow, so it would be a waste of money.
2. I’m not paying 50 bucks for a pillow, but I wish him well.
Whether you think the My Pillow Guy is the best, most stable person in the world is NOT the point. The point is that he and his business were threatened by liberal hate groups that if they didn’t pull their advertising from Ingraham’s show there would be consequences. Lindell told them to go pound salt. Whether you think Mike Lindell is a great guy or has a good product or not, you should respect his refusal to be cowed by liberal hate groups. I, personally, am going to support him. I’ll buy one of the pillows, not because I need a new pillow, but I admire the spine it takes for him to not allow his business to be dictated to by awful libs performing legalized extortion. I will send him a note saying this and I hope he reads it. We NEED to support people who refuse to be told what to think and what to say with their advertising dollars. Period.

You should see the featherbed prices! There’s a site called cuddledown — not the most expensive, but a great selection if you want to spend a thousand or so for something better than a mattress (imho). Their pillows can go a few hundred, too.

Except I like My Pillow. I sleep better than with a couple of previous ones, maybe a coincidence, maybe not.
Get the less filled one, if you have a choice, but since you said "a couple", get one of each.
As for "difference", the fill feels like cubed pieces with irregular features, so I'm guessing it "locks" with spaces to breathe.
Regardless, I still regret not grabbing my down pillow during the divorce...

Story rings true ... if a drug buyer gets out of hand no dealer wants the attention that comes with higher profile users that might flip for a deal or be tailed to the dealers home or place of business
As I mentioned before, ours were gifts; we received a soft one, and a medium density one. (They come in soft, medium and firm.) The soft one was perfect, but the medium one was too firm for me. Rather than return it, I opened up the seam, took out a few handsful of foam, and stitched it back up. PERFECT! Wash and dry like a dream, too, though we have a front loading washing machine; a machine with a regular agitator is going to be hard on most pillows; I can’t say how it would affect them.
Watch for promotions.
We paid much less for two of the pillows and they’re great.
He does give back. Big supporter of Salvation Army, for one. He also looks out for his employees; one guy was leaving for work THREE HOURS early, to walk to work; Lindell saw to it that he got a car. The Salvation Army is a good organization, though. When a family member was injured in a disaster, they’re the only group that actually helped her; Red Cross was pretty useless.
Actually, it’s his testimony, and he tells it himself. He wants people to know how the LORD delivered him.
Well if somehow I can cram them into my flight bag I’d get two. Those motel/hotel pillows are either like rocks or flat with no support.
