I think firing Mueller would be a bad idea. Not for the reasons given. Rather I think it would be a wasted opportunity. I think Trump should appoint another prosecutor to the Mueller’s team - a Special Co-Counsel if you will. One that would follow the trails that are being Ignored by Muller. One that would start to use the evidence against the Dem leaders, Hillary, and the DNC.
Strategery and political ju-jitsu.
Make the Dems hate the office of the special counsel.
If they thought they could pull it off they would have done it already.
If Trump fired Mueller, the media would beat the drums relentlessly and the polling would start. If they could sell the same story they haven't been able to sell since the election, then impeachment would start. Otherwise it would be the same old crap.
But that wouldn't be the best way to proceed anyway. The attorney general -- whoever that is, is the best person to deal with this situation, which is why the dirtbags in congress don't want Sessions fired. In fact, that is probably why Sessions maneuvered himself into the attorney general position in the first place, so he could sit on his hands in service of the deep state.
Our republic is diseased. It’s full of tumors and poison. This is, sadly, what excessive democracy leads to. We have spent the last 160 years expanding the franchise, and that has brought us to this point.
We have to rein in democracy and expand property rights. We can start with ending all voting by illegal aliens and other non-citizens. Only half of eligible citizens bother to vote, but 90% of adult illegals vote.
