Feminist author Germaine Greer has shared her bleak prediction for the upcoming royal wedding, claiming Meghan Markle will 'bolt' from her marriage to Prince Harry out of boredom.

Speaking to 60 Minutes, the outspoken activist slammed the Suits actress, implying she was marrying for money and status, but had given up too much of herself for the relationship to work.

Ms Greer said the monotony of royal life would likely set in, as would the rigid and demanding nature of her new life.

'She will see vistas of boredom that are unbelievable,' Ms Greer said.

Miss Markle has a history of using men to advance her career and then dump them when they are no longer useful. Look at the bright the last Windsor to marry an American divorcee stayed married.

I can’t believe Markle has lasted this long. The tedium of working for the “Firm” and enduring all the dim bulb members of that family would be too much to bear. There are probably some very good reasons why Harry was not able to marry a woman of similar background and social class.

Markle doesn’t come from the best background to be a stable wife, so she may not be ready. She may be another Diana in the making.

Markle and the Windsors deserve each other.

England wants her?

Good luck with that.

But yes, I do expect divorce will be the end game..... not going to predict because of boredom, but more due to the fact being royal requires obligations, sacrifice and duty, which a liberally raised american gal is far too selfish and self centered to endure for any length of time.

Yes, I am using generalizations, I don’t know the bride to be personally, but I just don’t see a person who has behaved in public the way she has historically done EVER being able to put others things ahead of herself for the long haul.

She wasn’t hired for her sterling character.

She won’t bolt. But we’ll have plenty of tabloid stories about late night partying and affairs.

If she does, then Harry will have dodged a bullet.

Has nothing to do with why she was “hired” has to do with can she keep the job... and frankly I just don’t see it.

It has everything to do with why she was hired. And as long as she gives good value for money and doesn’t blot her copybook, she’ll keep her gig.

Markle’s biggest problem will be cultural.

Not American vs British. Not poor vs rich.

But, rather, she has clearly bought in to every bit of the dime-store, bumper-sticker, Grrl Power feminism no different to most in her generation and especially her line of work.

This is the vapid You Can Do It! Girls Rule Boys Drool! elementary school variety. In addition, its adherents are quick to anger, quick to accuse and never - NEVER - look in the mirror to ascertain the cause of a problem or argument.

The Brits have a wonderful slang word - ‘bolshy’ - as in Bolshevik but more commonly interpreted as militant, chip-on-shoulder, shouty, one-volume obnoxious.

Markle is an operative.

The Royal Family is coming down and she’s going to help.

There is way more to this story. She and Harry don’t even have their “how did you meet” story straight!!!

“Bolshie” isn’t just British slang, I’ve heard it since college, usually from leftists concerned about appearing too radical to be persuasive, as in “was that too Bolshie?” followed by laughter.

‘She will see vistas of boredom that are unbelievable,’ Ms Greer said. ................................... No S#!t Sherlock. She’ll milk it for whatever she can get from it. She’s an entertainment personality, and a commoner, once the spot light is being shared and is drawn away from her, its bye bye Prince.

Well put. I give the marriage about three years. Anybody who expects these two to see their years out together is a fool. I’m guessing she’ll bring a lot of embarrassment to the family. Too bad, too, because Harry really needs a devoted help mate.
