I heard today that the Boy Scouts are dropping the Boy so as to include girls in their troops. How long do you bet it will be before a non-trans’d girl sues because she wanted to be a BOY Scout?

My boys are all Eagle Scouts from the days before the Boy Scouts of America surrendered to the far left fringe and self destructed. They got a lot out of BSA, and I loved the program. It’s a shame so many normal people are so focused on their own lives that they either couldn’t or didn’t work harder to protect BSA from attack. I hope and pray that one of the replacements created by normal people will succeed, dominate normal culture, and last another hundred plus years before the thugs take it down too.

Now fades into obscurity the last remaining rite of passage for boys about to become men. Non-females will become ‘pajama boys’ and later fit only for human sacrifice, as we see in today’s articles.
The end of scouting started with the infiltration and demise of the Girl Scouts by Leftists, Feminists and Lesbians. It rotted from the head down as sex became the priority at the International and National level promoting inappropriate material and lifestyles. The Homosexuals saw this and infiltrated just the same but more through a-hole judges and frivolous lawsuits. There is very little of Americana left in America. The left could not have done all of this without apathy and very little intestinal fortitude from Conservatives.

Odd. No mention of Girl Scouts association with Planned Parenthood.
About a third of the boys in our Troop came from single parent (mom) households. In many cases the boy’s only contact with men doing men things was through Scouts. Men behave differently when women/girls are present, the dynamic is just different.
Scouting will no longer be the opportunity for boys to grow into men, which is what is suspect the homosexual and feminist goal was all along.
In retrospect, Scouting years were the best of my young adult life. I am so sorry that so many young men will not have a similar experience.

The author’s complaint is that this move is fake progressivism, not real activism. Let that sink in for a moment. She says she’s a Girl Scout and touts the program, but she is basically a communist who disparages Boy Scouts because they resisted flying the pride flag until 2013. If that is the takeaway from years of “leadership” in the Girl Scout program, I’d say they were abject failures.
I have a young girl scout and boy scout going through the systems today. Here are some observations.
1. There have been girls in Boy Scouts since the 1970s. First in the Explorer program and today in the Venture crew program. Minimum age is 14. Of the Venture crew people I’ve met they are very dedicated and service oriented and no one gives the girls grief for it.
2. Boy Scouting is a family friendly activity, while Girl Scouts ACTIVELY discourage family activities. My daughter and I can join in all the Cub Scout campouts to be with my son (and other cubs) but I can’t even be in the same tent as my daughter on Girl Scout campouts (I’m not even sure they’d done a campout now that I think of it). As best I can tell one program loves the family while the other does not.
3. BSA Troops have the option of setting up boys-only, girls-only, or mixed troops once the integration takes place. This is a lot like Venture crews currently operate.
4. Girl scouts do not prepare young girls for practical things in life, at least as I’ve observed over the years. They don’t focus on pitching tents, filtering water, cooking over a fire, building a fire, whittling, hiking long distance, etc. like the Boy Scouts do. I think the average Girl Scout would be lost and would die if dropped in the woods and told to escape, whereas the average Boy Scout could probably make it to safety. In short, from a purely practical standpoint I’d much rather have my girl join the Boy Scouts and learn those things than spend 10 more years as a Girl Scout and come out loving Planned Parenthood and thinking like a progressive. (not that I would let that happen)
5. Both programs depend on the leadership at the local level to succeed. My son’s troop leader is a father, a life-long Boy Scout, and a proponent of helping the boy’s become self-sufficient young men. If he had girls in his troop I’m sure he would drive them just as hard to become self-sufficient young women, and I would trust him with that task 100 times more than I would trust the entire Girl Scout program as it is now.
6. Both programs are dying. The BSA just saw it first and pounced. Girls and boys leave the scout program in droves the older they get and this won’t change the trajectory. Kids today talk about video games and texting and have less interest in “the old ways.” And girls join Girl Scouts to be with their friends and leave the program even faster. This is why you never hear about their Gold award—no one is left in Girl Scouts by the time they reach that age. So most of what we’re talking about in terms of integration is at the cub scout level where family camping is already a great activity. As the kids grow older a few girls will survive the progam—those who really enjoy the outdoors—but I don’t think it will be a huge number.
The BSA was once a great American institution. They liberalism took over. The BSA is now lost.
I think this will succeed if the BSA keeps operations decision control at the pack level.
