How a show glorifying Satan ever got the green light in the first place is a mystery.

I agree. Was never a fan of the show, and honestly, just goes to show the depths of how low a network will go to get ratings.

I don’t take it at all as a show glorifying Satan.

It’s a very interesting take on the denizens of Biblical lore and to me explores the possibility of free will vs God’s design.

The overlying theme is Lucifer’s role was to rebel against God from his creation the way Jesus’ role was to be the Messiah. In many aspects Lucifer is severely bound by rules, moreso than you would truly expect and his power is truly constrained by God.

From a biblical sense the show is a farce as was the comic book. It is very entertaining though. I mean Lucifer gets bored in hell, says I quit and moves to LA. I’m sorry, that right there is funny stuff alone that he picked LA for his hell on Earth.

I will miss it.

Madame Secretary is still on CBS.

Get off of it. You don’t have to watch, if you ever did.

The show, overall, has a positive message about redemption.

Entertaining show but the storyline had about run its course anyway.

The primary actors in Faust revolve around the devil and The Inferno is about hell, The Devil and Daniel Webster is another one. They also are no threat to your personal faith or beliefs any more than shows like Lucifer have any effect on my personal faith in God or beliefs.

I thought the same thing, at first. However, it really was a good show.

Not sure you're in touch with Hollywood, or general TV audiences.

Well at least it was a step up from the coverage of Hillary during the last election cycle.

Even Lucifer has his standards.

The first season was good, with Lucifer on a path of redemption and reconciliation with God. Then it got stupid. I was getting bored with it.

When Jehovah spoke "Let there be Light"... It was the Light-bringer, Son of the Morning, הֵילֵל, that brought it to Him. It wasn't until his fall that Lucifer became the Adversary.

It’s based off a comic. Literally every comic ever is being adapted for TV or movies because Hollywood is out of ideas.

For the record this version of the devil is basically an avenging angel, the warden of God’s prison (till he quit and moved to LA) and not “evil”.
