Democrats Reach a Tipping Point on Israel
National Review ^ | 5/20/18 | Tobin

While the Trump administration backed Israel’s right to defend its border with as much force as necessary, most Democrats didn’t agree. Many responded as the Obama administration would have been expected to, denouncing the supposedly “disproportionate” tactics of the Israel Defense Forces but also noting the role of the Hamas terrorist group, which rules Gaza, in fomenting the violence.

Representative Joseph Kennedy III, a rising star in the party who gave the official Democratic response to Trump’s State of the Union address earlier this year, provided a good example of this two-faced approach when he managed to cram criticism of Israel’s “excessive use of force,” a denunciation of Hamas, support for moving the embassy, and a claim that the embassy’s “hasty relocation” by Trump was the ultimate cause for all the violence into one two-paragraph statement.

I am struck by the similarity of Democrat hatred for Israel and its self-defense, and by Democrat hatred toward the 2nd Amendment and the right of U.S. citizens to self-defense. Both are based upon blind hatred of self-defense as a concept.

They will come more unhinged at POTUS and FLOTUS go to Israel on 5/23/18. the meet w/ Bibi, Visit Yad Vashem, and he meets with Abbas, assuming he is out of the Hospital.

My guess? PDJT presses forward with fostering talks between Israel and the P.A. with the ultimate goal of peace which he will note, watch the splodee heads over that one.

We have seen a couple reports like this and taken on their face they are VERY disturbing, yes indeed................................ but NO, and I repeat, NO actual Democratic voter of our acquaintance is anything but very pro-Israel (and we know some D’s of a very, very left-wing bent, alas). The anti-Semitic D’s are mostly the party’s ruling elite (those in the pay of the likes of the infamous SorozNazi and.or?)....In other words, most if not all of the ROT in the D party is AT THE TOP....and yes, this is still VERY disturbing. For two reasons, really. First, because (as the old Danish adage puts it so well:) “a fish rots from its head”....and Secondly, because this is just one more sign of the danger we are ALL in with our political party elites (and their Puppetmeisters like SorozNazi)........ a quite small cabal of mostly very evil and rich or influential, highly-”privileged” people have seized, purchased control our political party “machines”..(SorozNazi/Stryner etc for the D party and their RINO/GOP-e co-conspirators or enablers) .... we voters (of both parties) are essentially disenfranchised, unrepresented. Very dangerous for a society, any society...and this creates a great deal of anger and social instability too...alas...
we need to Drain the Swamp at both DNC and GOP-E

“Representative Joseph Kennedy III, a rising star in the [Socialist Democrat] party...”

No! No more Kennedys. No more Clintons. No more Bushs.

Americans have MORE than had their fill!

Democrats who believe Israel has no right to defend its borders shouldn’t be allowed to defend their own properties’ borders, either. Anyone who wants to break into such a Democrat’s home and rob, assault, or kill him should be allowed to. Fair is fair.

Quibble, it's not a two-faced approach, it's all one face, and it's the only face the Demagogic Party has. Thanks pabianice.

if true that the Dem leadership is WAY more anti-Semitic than their rank and file, then that’s great news for Trumpism, as it should be yet another factor to drive even more wavering Dems from their party ...

yes you are correct.
the vicious anti-Semitism is driving some D voters away from the party.
but ......alas...not as many as one would expect (or hope).
because,
most people vote for SEVERAL motivating reasons...some of which are “more important” to these voters than how the party brass treats Jewish people.
It is a simple fact. ...
so that a grossly evil thing like anti-Semitism might not be enough to drive some voters away from the D party..
Examples....voters who are afraid their welfare benefits would stop if they voted R,
and voters who are misled into thinking the R party might be ‘racist’ (we know that history teaches it is the D, not R party that breeds and fans the flames of racism.. indeed the Klu Klux Klan is D while the R party fought for, and finally achieved, the abolition of slavery).... but the D lying propaganda has convinced many voters of these lies...
and voters who are on the graft like union bosses and all the people they can “con” by constant lies in the union news papers, etc.

and there are a few real antiSemites that will vote 100 percent D since the D party is now the antiSemitic party
in USA. I estimate these voters as still less than 1 percent but they exist and will vote a solid D ticket.

and there are still some anti-Semitic “JINO’s” (sicko Jews in name only) who have soaked up all the old Nazi type Anti-Semitism and, perversely, continue it themselves...think Stockholm Syndrome or how Patti Hearst adopted the sicko rhetoric of her SLA captors). About half of people from Jewish heritages fall into this group, so sadly. It takes the good solid Christian vote to cancel out these sickos.

so,

“alas...not as many as one would expect (or hope).
because,”

i was mostly thinking of the tax-paying middle-class non-leftist-extremist Dems, at least the remaining ones, as well as some of the Jewish folks that still remember the travails of previous anti-Semitism; pretty much everyone else in the Dem party are lost causes, including Nassim Taleb’s “Educated Yet Idiots”

Dictators don’t care about their beasts of burden. Democrats also don’t like borders, that’s why they cross them as often as they can to vote. It is also why they win so many independent national elections.

50 years ago, Senator Robert Kennedy, was gunned down for supporting Israel. Today, many Democrats agree with the goal of Sirhan Sirhan, and shill for Hamas, the sister terrorist group of Al Qaeda

His grandfather Robert was killed by a palestinian terrorist, you’d think that would make one come down on one side or the other.

If I am personally very pro-Israel, but I vote for Hitler and the Nazi party, then in REALITY I am anti-Israel.

There is no such thing as a pro-life democrat, or a pro-Israel democrat, or even a pro-Christian democrat.
