A job hunter claims he has been unfairly discriminated against after he was rejected by dozens of employers over his enormous neck tattoo.
Joe Parsons, 21, got the $330 six-inch throbbing red heart with turquoise angel wings in memory of his late grandfather while he worked in a factory.
But he claims that, while he has no problem getting around 30 interviews, he has never managed to get a job thanks to his huge inking.
He has tried attending interviews wearing high-necked shirts but the tips of the wings still peek out above the collar line.
Parsons, from Manchester, England, insists he doesnt regret getting the extreme body art but wishes potential bosses could see past it.
He said: Before I got the tattoo people thought I was a happy, confident person. Now it feels like people think Im full of my self and that I dont give a damn.
Thats just not who I am. Im just a normal person and all I want is a decent job.
Theres definitely a stigma attached which there shouldnt be. I do think its a form of discrimination.
Its not down to the skills I have and in every interview they havent given me a good reason. Now I feel like Ive got dont hire me written all over my neck.

You are full of yourself and that you dont give a damn. So shut up and accept the consequences of your action.
And it’s not because of the tatoo. It’s because you didn’t give a damn about getting a job that you got the tat. Now you can’t get a job, so shut up.
Aint it great being able to enjoy freedom 24/7 just because you are a little stupider than the rest of us?
Stupidity has its consequences ... advertising it for all the world to see makes them much more severe ...
Taco Bell?
Hey, dumba$$, the filthy t-shirt might have had a negative effect, too!

One of the really good thing some Evangelical churches do in their prison outreach is finance tattoo removal for inmates who are in line to be released. This guy’s experience shows how important such removal is, and he’s not even an ex-con.
Wear a dickie while you are getting your tat removed. Have it replaced in an unobtrusive place. Unless youre MS 13. Then go to jail.
Not my problem.
By the way, I wouldn’t hire his *ss either.
What happens when tattoos go out of style?
Wonder how long till tats are covered under the ADA?
It’s a disgusting, ugly tattoo, and employers probably assume he was under the influence when he got it.
Sounds like he has some hard circumstances, but he should bite the bullet and get laser removal. Yuck!
The son of a friend of mine is like that. He’s about 25. Really good kid, I’ve known him since birth.
Christian, smart, no drugs or other bad habits.
Long shaggy hair and can’t get a job besides McDonald’s.
I’ve flat out told him to cut his hair, get the job then push the envelope and grow it again.
But, he won’t do it. It runs in the family. His uncle was the same way when we worked together 35 years ago.
Imagine what idiots many would look like now if platform shoes had to be grafted into your feet, lol.
If I saw something like that at Taco Bell, I would walk right back out the door.
I knew that would be the first post when I saw his photo.
Do stupid things, win stupid prizes.
FWIW, the tattoo looks new in the photo, skin all red around it, and he probably wore his grungies for the “art”work.
It is assuredly Discrimination. If one abjures all discrimination one will, when hungry, eat the nearest thing to hand, edible or not- tide pods, maybe. The act of choosing for any reason is Discrimination which means the ability or act of choosing one thing over another for any reason. if you prefer wearing a cotton shirt to wearing a hair shirt that is Discrimination and liberals will heap abuse on you for it.
