Speaking of a huge presence, Jess Greenberg covers a bunch of Hendrix and much more: So, without futher ado — here they are, Jess Greenberg:

War Heroes. The last of Jimi's fully produced posthumous albums, and one my personal favorites (weren't they all?).
Everything that came out after that, was either unpolished session jams, live concert material, or repackaged originals from earlier albums.
The Hendrix family really milked the vault over the last twenty years and released a lot of stuff that never would have seen the light of day, had Jimi lived.
I never saw Hendrix live, but I get what Blackmore is saying through the live footage I've seen of Jimi...the embodied of Daltrey's saying of "give me a bum note and a bead of sweat."
Ritchie's greatness is not to be denied - the Made in Japan version of Highway Star is the greatest song for driving (watch the speedometer!).
That said, I've seen Satriani and Morse live and they were awesome. And truth be told, their shows were more exciting then when I saw DP in the 1980s. Different strokes.
