Do they eat the buns too or just hot dogs?
To: Trump20162020
My favorite part of this article is that it appears in CBS sports.
Can’t wait for my hometown to get its own professional hot dog eating franchise.

Isn’t it more than a little insulting to “TRUE AMERICAN HEROES” to refer to someone that stuffs an enormous amount of food down his gullet as a true American hero? Especially on this day of remembrance?

On ESPN Radio, this morning, they predicted he’d eat 75. I’m so disappointed.

Tried to watch the video of this. After two minutes I had a bad case of heartburn and indigestion. How do they do it without trowing up?

Interesting. I saw the “event” live and the count they showed for Chestnut was about 65 at the end. Still about 20 more than the 2nd place guy.
Guess Mickey Mouse Sports needed more hype, so the “official” count was upped to just beat the record.

I never could figure out where they’re putting so much food.
One chili dog and some potato salad — I’m done for the day.

Does each contestant, shortly after perhaps behind the scenes, barf the whole thing up?
Is there some rule on crumbs? Seems like a strategy of shedding a few percent more crumbs than the other guy would give an edge.
So, what do they eat for dinner tonight?

Watched it live, but ESPN went to other programming before Chesnut’s
official count was released.
The introductions were more fun than watching the eating contest.
What a bunch of characters. And the announcer was great.

If women are as good as men, why did Joey eat almost twice the hotdogs Miki Sudo, the women’s champ did?

Wish I had a sports hero like Joey to emanate when I was growing up. I’d probably be a lot bigger than I am right now........
