I try to keenly watch for concise, potent, info dense stuff that I can put on such cards. I spend a lot of time at this but not unlimited time.

I look for such things due to a lifetime list of people with whom I correspond. The old fashioned way, through the postal service. I developed the habit years ago of including an extra in every card and letter. I've used colorful index cards printed with scripture, quotes or short verse.

Good information packed facts as you suggest passing out personally are a welcome new twist for me to add as my extra. I know some of my correspondees probably throw my cards away but I've observed them on refrigerators, used as bookmarks, sitting on desks or tacked on walls so I know some are meaningful. Probably shows my age using snail mail and the pre-internet form of meme.

Continuing implementation of the program “Cradles of Hope”, in 2011 the Victor Pinchuk Foundation became a partner in the national project “New Life”. As part of this project, which focuses on opening perinatal centers throughout Ukraine, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation has committed to supply intensive care units for newborns with modern medical equipment. Over the period of 2011-2013, in partnership with the “New Life”, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation equipped 13 neonatal centers.

In addition to equipping neonatal centers with the high quality equipment, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation systematically provides technical support to the neonatal centers (equipment repairs and provision of consumables to ensure nonstop functioning of the centers) and pays great attention to regular activities intended to give medical staff with the latest knowledge and technologies in neonatal nursing. Since program launch in 2006, 1 315 healthcare professionals from all regions of Ukraine have taken part in the educational events hosted by the Foundation under this program.

Since “Cradles of Hope” program launch, 500 101 infants have been born in partner hospitals. 74 135 of them were patients of intensive care and resuscitation units. The truth should be easier for those of faith to see, yet if our faith is shallow and of milk, then our faith will be sorely tested, perhaps to the point of denial as did the apostle. We must be much in prayer for our leaders, our brothers and sisters in Christ, our fellow freedom loving citizens, and even those on the other side that they will see the truth and repent even unto,salvation.

I say this for when the dam breaks those of us prepared for the truth must stand as anchors for those around us, to be the bulwarks against the storm. We must stand shoulder to shoulder with arms locked, holding steadfastly to the truth that all will see where the battle lines are drawn and that there is no middle ground or gray areas.

Time to take on the whole armor of God, to gird up our loins, and to be men (and women) of courage.

I found a second document at whitehouse.gov containing POTUS’ remarks re the NDAA. This document lists many sections of the NDAA that Trump says contradict the separation of powers and other provisions (infringes on powers as POTUS) which he will not honor in place of authority granted the office of the president. He lists specific sections which, “Purport

Here’s an example:

“Several provisions of the bill, including sections 112, 147, 936, 1017, 1665, and 1689, purport to restrict the President’s authority to control the personnel and materiel the President believes to be necessary or advisable for the successful conduct of military missions. While I share the objectives of the Congress with respect to maintaining the strength and security of the United States, my Administration will implement these provisions consistent with the President’s authority as Commander in Chief.”

He also has responses like that one (congress requiring certification from President before president undertakes certain military actions, restricting transfer of prisoners from Guantamo Bay, etc.) in which he says the bill declares limitations/restrictions that are not consistent with the office of the president. It appears he signed the bill to get the funding but is stating he is not bound by portions of the bill that encroach on the powers of the presidency. One such pushback refers to the constitution. Interesting.
