Oh, the crazy, crawly things you can find on the 'style' pages of the New York Times where they apparently think no one is looking.
Kid you not, they've got a 'Style' column with some woman writing as 'Whitey' into a Dear Abby-style personal problem-solving column asking a panel of leftists (of color)what she can do about all her 'white-skin privilege.'
You can't make this stuff up:

I’m riddled with shame. White shame. This isn’t helpful to me or to anyone, especially people of color. I feel like there is no “me” outside of my white/upper middle class/cisgender identity. I feel like my literal existence hurts people, like I’m always taking up space that should belong to someone else.
I consider myself an ally. I research proper etiquette, read writers of color, vote in a way that will not harm P.O.C.(and other vulnerable people). I engage in conversations about privilege with other white people. I take courses that will further educate me. I donated to Black Lives Matter. Yet I fear that nothing is enough. Part of my fear comes from the fact that privilege is invisible to itself. What if I’m doing or saying insensitive things without realizing it?

Apparently, this is real, and not some joke put on by rightwing satirists. No satirist could make up something this bizarre in its minute self-loathing and expect to be believed.
The panel of lefty columnists answer her with stereotypical soothingness--there, there, dear--and advise her to pick up the torch for social justice warriorhood-to relieve herself of her white skin privilege affliction. Only by becoming a SJW will she be redeemed.
It's about the most retch-inducing column of advice I've ever read.

No one in this country of ours is an untermench, unless they want to be. The ubermench strive to be better regardless of obstacles put before them. We are the land of opportunity for those who want it to be. There are always avenues to being what you want to be. Sitting at home eating Twinkies and watching Maury is not your avenue to success regardless of skin color. Look around you, I see lots of colors wearing business suits and driving flashy cars. Most were not handed their positions because of a color or gender, they got them from their own motivation and work ethic. So sick of these cry me a river types. If you want anything in life, go work for it, you’ll get it. What is earned is treasured, what is free is worth what you paid for it.
Not a joke? But this had to be a joke. Some kind of bad satire. So I did a little digging. Yep, it’s real. Here’s the original New York Times article.
My only hope is that the “Whitey” is pulling some kind of prank on the Times. (Maybe “Whitey” is really Borat.)

Dear Whitey, My advice is to end your wretched, useless life ASAP. One of your friends should be able to get you some fentanyl. Eat as much of it as you can until you stop breathing. Your carcass will still take up space, at least underground. Don't get cremated since your carbon will end up in planet killer CO2 and other air pollution. Have a good day!

Probably the biggest concern of the US citizen today is the wide open border and out of control illegal immigration, probably the #1 reason why Trump got elected.
Well how stupid do democrats have to be to start a movement to “abolish ICE/abolish immigration enforcement” mere months before an election? And this isn’t some wacko off the street pushing this crap, this is crap pushed by Democrats already in office like Bill DeBlasio, Kirsten Gillibrand.
And then this insanely racist “white privilege” crap, not to mention tagging anyone who isn’t 100% communist as a “white supremacist” and then all the censorship, I really think Democrats are going to be utterly obliterated come November but then again, I should never underestimate the stupidity of the general public.
With condolences to any FReepers there, New York City is an insane asylum.

my privilege is that my parents loved each other to stay together, to work on building character within their offspring and to know the value of education. My parents lived within their means raising six children and always gave glory to God. My father was the greatest testament to being there for all his sons, and daughters, until his death, and i still draw strength from the stories i share of him.
Democrat ‘war room’ boys are getting fancy with their ‘fake’ letters to newspapers....
Here is my cure: Renounce your US citizenship and move to Zimbabwe, Liberia, Iran or some other place in which those of European ancestry are a minority. Your “white skin privilege” will disappear immediately.
