It is a good thing your infrastructure is better than Puerto Rico!
The museum just keeps growing and growing.
In 1995, the movie Something to Talk About(Julia Roberts, Robert Duvall, Dennis Qauid) was filmed at the Perry National Fairgrounds.
And, Quaid is quite the airplane buff. He made a point of visiting the museum. In fact, I think the Air Force took him up in a jet.
Here’s a funny story. One night Robert Duvall came to Warner Robins and ate up all the prime rib . . . before some of the cast and crew could get there. That was in the paper.
Also,, some of them asked the waitress where they could buy.... Jeff Foxworthy’s you might be a red neck.
She directed them to Kmart.... which was right behind the restaurant and all of a 15 second walk.
My dad wasn’t a model soldier/airman. He spent a lot of time on K.P. and spent a lot of his energy figuring out how to sneak off of base—AWOL. After my mom died I found his letters to her on Robins AAF Base letterhead. Featured a stylized B-17 in either red or blue.
Melania looked so beautiful in white shirt and white cap with USA written in black letters . . .
and Trump looked quite dapper in white pants and a black jacket.
Melania is stunning! Everything she wears looks so absolutely stunning and classy!
Speaking of staying put. The local high school football team played in the State High School 5A State Championship game last year. Darn strong local athletes. Warner Robbins
