This is absolutely tragic. Police officers in Anne Arundel County, Maryland arrived at a man’s home to confiscate his guns under the state’s Red Flag law. When he answered the door holding a gun, a fight ensued and they shot him dead. For months, we have been warning you about the so-called “red flag” bills that are being passed in states around the country. These laws allow family members, friends, and even complete strangers to turn gun owners into police to have their firearms confiscated. It is then up to the gun owner to prove that he or she deserves the right to keep and bear arms. It completely turns the justice system on its head. Under these laws, gun owners are presumed guilty until proven innocent.
On Monday morning, police officers in Anne Arundel County, Maryland showed up confiscate 60-year-old Gary J Willis’ guns. A family member had called police and asked them to suspend Gary Willis’ gun rights, and the local police department was more than happy to oblige.
When the pounding on the door began at 5:17 am, Gary showed up to his door holding a firearm. When he saw it was police, he put the gun down to talk to them. But then, the officers informed him they were there to confiscate all of his weapons.
Imagine how you would feel. You wake up out of a sound sleep to pounding on your door. You grab a gun in case it is a criminal, but it turns out that the police are there to confiscate your guns without even accusing you of committing a crime…
Gary Willis refused to comply with the confiscation order. That is when the fight broke out. During the struggle, one of the weapons discharged. Police, fearing for their lives, opened fire on Gary Willis, killing the 60-year-old man in his own home.
This is how the commie piggy politicians plan on getting LEOs killed. Send them to do NAZI work on Americans. We need to demand that the politicians themselves must be sent to confiscate our firearms. LEOs should not have to die for greedy, political pigs.

With all due respect you are FOS. If you actually read the story you’ll notice that none of the cops were hurt, but the citizen they were depriving of his constitutional rights was killed. This is how liberals plan to have bitter clingers killed.
What difference would a court order make?
I’d love to send the politicians, and I’m sure they don’t care in the least if a few cops get killed, but they want their beloved police around to enforce the tyranny they plan to inflict. The object is to kill gun owners not police and yes your premise that they want to kill police is bass ackward from reality. They want their police to kill us not the other way around
Come to think of it. No reason why the politicians couldn’t join in the fun. After all the goon wing of the Democrat party stages a partial home invasion of Tucker Carlson the other day. I’m sure it would be possible to ascertain the locations of some of the more egregious examples for some “demonstrations”

Agreed. A court order issued upon the claim of one person, no third party input, and no opportunity for the respondent (?) to rebut is not a lawful adjudication of anything. The way such an action should work is that the concerned party files a petition, the judge reviews it and grants a hearing, the subject gets served with a writ to appear, (then lawyers up) goes to court, argues and is then adjudged based on evidence and response, then either the petition is granted or rejected....
Me telling you that Joe is nuts is not anything more than gossip and innuendo.
Everyone knows that you do not have to answer the door for anyone, right? That’s what a video monitor is for.

Also all the details are not known. Was the guy making threats? Was he suffering dementia such that he was losing it? Where is the rest of the story?
The gun confiscaters were looking for an excuse to shoot the man dead. He gave them the excuse they were looking for.
Don’t bother opening the door to these good little Nazis.
There is no justification for initiating a swat raid at 5:17 a.m. based on someones “concern”.
