It’s not what Google is doing that should concern Congress but that Google has the power to do it. Under antitrust law, bigness without misconduct is actionable by itself.

What kind of statement is that clown trying to make?

Sundar is an evasive snake.

Jim Jordan asking very specific questions and this guy repeats that Google doesn’t do that or that they found no evidence that they did what the emails said they did.

So obvious that Google has politically active partisans who use their company’s power for that end.

Who Sundar? Basically, he’s making the phony claim that Google does not quash conservative voices inside his company or on their platform.

(I know what you really meant but I needed to spout how much I despise the “leadership” at this company.)

Until the FFC gets involved, nothing will happen.

The problem is that Google knows they’re in the sweet spot:

The libs love what they’re doing, and though the conservatives are against it, they’re not going to ask for government regulations to fix the problem.

The only path is anti-trust, but Microsoft is enough of a competitor to defuse that lawsuit.

No really. There’s Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, and a few others.

They need to start closing these things to the public. You’d think after the altercations at the Kavanagh hearing they’d get a clue.

“Google has a monopoly.”

While google doesn't have a monopoly, they have a huge worldwide market share that gives them an increasing ability to control content and opinion. Their ees work in a bubble, live in a bubble, socialize in a bubble and plan against freedom in that same bubble. Watching this lying arrogant S.O.B. 'testify' is proof of their toxicity.

Personally, I stay away from their website and use DOGPILE almost exclusively. I also found a great Swiss email service that encrypts everything - PROTON MAIL

I was answering the question about the goofy monopoly-man in the photo.

I was not stating anything else. Get it?

I used altavista before becoming aware of google around 1998.

I don’t use google to search.

I am well aware of the situation.
