POTUS took the stage at 11:45am local time at the Republican Jewish Coalition annual meeting to the tune of “”God Bless the USA.” He paced back and forth across the stage while the song played and the crowd cheered.

Attendees rose to their feet (many even jumping onto their seats to get a better view. People in the audience waved various signs, including one that read, simply, “Trump” in English and Hebrew; signs that say “we support President Trump” and “We are Jews for Trump.”

A number of people also donned red yarmulkes that say “Trump” and the standard red MAGA hats.

“Shabbat Shalom” his speech began. Just then, a number of protesters jumped up on their chairs just before President Trump began speaking. They chanted: “Jews are here to stay; occupation is OK” . (PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THIS — IT WAS HARD TO HEAR THE LATTER PART). The crowd pulled them off their chairs and chanted in unison “USA! USA!”

The speech is airing live so I will only send highlights.

Worth noting that Republican donor and Trump supporter Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam arrived in a wheelchair before President Trump took the stage, prompting the speaker to pause and clap. The folks gathered in the auditorium jumped to their feet to cheer him Adelson is a major funder of the RJC.

Folks — one of my great co-poolers saw one of the protesters in the back of the room carrying a sign with the chant spelled out:

“Jews are here to stay; Occupation is a PLAGUE.”

In @RJC address @POTUS asks: "How the hell did you support President Obama? ...How did you support the Democrats?"

"It might not happen" says @POTUS of a US trade deal with #China.

#India is "a great country, great friend" but is "charging us 100 percent" tariffs on some products on which US charges none, says @POTUS.

"Many of you people have factories and plants" and "they're still empty," because of #NAFTA, @POTUS says to @RJC.

7m... "Let's see how it works out" with the #DPRK, says @POTUS, again noting he has a great relationship with Kim Jong Un but he had to walk away from the deal.

2m..."You folks go out and vote for them" even if they don't keep their promises (such as moving the US embassy to Jerusalem"), says @POTUS of Jews and @TheDemocrats.

Kim Foxx did not answer my question about her office flip flopping on likelihood of Smollett conviction but she did address the race issue, saying it was injected by “white nationalists” that showed up to the FOP rally against her this week:

Rusty, would you be so kind as to explain why, with tariffs, wage increases, etc., we don’t seem to have runaway inflation? I thought the Federal Reserve managed currency policy and interest rates, and I really don’t understand why things seem to be going so well. My tax burden decreased markedly this year because of the new tax regs, and, frankly, I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.
