FIFA face calls to bring in male referees for Women's World Cup after ugly scenes
The Daily Mail ^ | 24 June 2019 | IAN HERBERT

There are growing demands for FIFA to consider using both male and female referees at future Women's World Cups after out-of-control Cameroon players were allowed to foul England players with impunity at the end of Sunday's round-of-16 tie.

Former England captain Faye White echoed the views of her ex-international team-mate Casey Stoney in arguing that there should be a mix of both, also insisting that the debate cuts two ways.

The men's game also had a part to play in allowing female involvement, raising refereeing levels before future tournaments to ensure they play a full and credible part.

They don't need a male ... until they do.

Irony or hypocrisy?

And now it’s going to be about 100 degrees in France in a vicious heat wave, that should add a new level of hostility.

You don’t “put people on notice” You pass out a memorandum which every lesbian signs before the action starts. You act out and you’re on your way home at your expense. No second or third chances. You’re just gone.

Watching chess is boring if you don't understand it.

I don't like watching chess, even though I understand it, but I wouldn't call it pathetic. I suspect you are a chronically negative or depressed person.

Ignorance doesn't mean dumb, it just means you don't know about something. You are ignorant about soccer. That's why you find it boring. But to think that your finding something boring makes it pathetic means you don't understand yourself or the nature of your mind or reality.

That is probably the real source of your chronic negativity.

If you respond to this at all, I suspect it will be ... chronically negative, but have little to do with what I said.

If you think not liking soccer somehow makes a person as pathetic as soccer actually is, you’ve got serious issues.

Soccer is a kiddie game, it’s not even a sport. Womyns soccer is a third world mash of stupid chicks running around kicking a stupid ball into a net - so gay.

Who has such poor judgment such as to watch this pathetic sport?
Many of millions of fans worldwide enjoy watching women's soccer including the man you voted to be President of the United States of Americas:
"I love watching women's soccer," he said in the Oval Office. "They’re really talented." - President Donald J. Trump

Hey look kids this is pretty simple

if you’re trying to focus on the other person instead of the ball

and this is both in rugby and soccer

You will lose

Wilst u tried to attack the other person - somebody’s running away with the ball. And scores

That is the beautiful nature of both futbol international and rugby

Ant male official should demand more money than the females get since they can't seem to handle the job. That would make the communist kickball dyke's heads explode.

Watching chess is boring if you don't understand it.

Watching sailing is boring, although it's my favorite activity. Watching NASCAR is boring, although road-racing courses were my "thing". YouTube at Nürburgring have me captivated, as I have many days of "seat-time" there.

I enjoy American football more than any other team sport—although I don't cheer for any particular team—since the Dolphins of 1972 anyway. Friends who have tried to impress me with Soccer have failed.

Each to his own.

ANY ref would have had problems in that England-Cameroon game. When the quality of the teams is so disparate and when several close calls go against the weaker team, trouble will brew. The VAR may have been correct, but controlling the players became even harder after those reviews. Here, one team has almost no history or culture of sportsmanship. The foul on Houghton as time expired was criminal, “straight red” stuff.

However, what is not ever talked about is what is called “self-refereeing.” That is where the players make a ref and the other team self-police the dirty players. As an example, at some level, Cameroon players need to tell other Cameroon players to straighten up because of the consequences to themselves. They MUST become convinced that if the game does not get under control, they themselves will be leaving the field with a broken leg or ankle. The best teams have enforcers that will take out the skilled players of the other team in retaliation, even if that player is not “the offender.” That’s just the way it is and needs to be, when the ref loses control.

Like I said, you won’t hear that spoken of from the commentators’ booth. It all takes place on the field between the players. (Unfortunately, both our USMNT and our USWNT have lost their “bite.” We take a beating because of it.)

“But if you are saying that soccer is pathetic, then sorry but there is a good chance that you are pathetic :-) It’s not necessary to love soccer, but to think it is pathetic ... well like I said, that is kind of pathetic. If that’s what you meant, sounds like you have a personal negativity problem and not really a problem with soccer.”

Your ability to determine someone’s personality from a single comment is truly amazing, and not in a good way.
