OT .. Slings and Arrows .... just wanted to extend my condolences towards you on our loss of Neil ...

I was playing guitar in a band back in the late 70's and our Bassist turned me on to "Hemispheres" .... loved it from the very moment I heard it .... we were big YES fans back then, "Prog Rockers" as it were, but YES was beginning to become a bit stale by that point, and it seemed that up-n-coming band "Rush" were filling the void, picking up the dynamics where YES were lagging ... I've been a fan ever since :)

LOL :) Actually, that YES album reinvigorated them ... absolutely LOVE that YES album !!!

Years later, about 7 years ago, saw Jon Anderson & Rick Wakeman at a small venue nearby ... just Jon on guitar and vocals, with Rick playing keys along with it ... the beauty of which they played several YES tunes which Jon initially wrote, but without all the complexity of the YES versions ... just simple guitar and beautiful melodies, with nice embellishments from Rick's keys :)
