I’m still alive too.

Went to the grocery yesterday and three full shelves were stocked to the brim with handy-wipes.

Plenty of toilet paper in that aisle too.

I am not really afraid of this except maybe for the economic impact it could have but yesterday it got a lot more real for me. My sister is an optometrist and works with a very large medical group spread over multiple counties in 2 states. She got word last night that a person testing positive for coronavirus showed up at one of their offices and now they are considering how to handle it including possibly shutting everything down for a month. That brought home to me the financial burden of this thing and it will be interesting to see how people end up planning for this.

Lucky for you!

Our stores are pretty much wiped out....Costco...no water, no TP.....Walmart....no water...a little TP was left, yesterday, per a relative....smaller grocery store had most water gone and cleaners were all wiped out.

They’ll restock, I’m sure...but, for those who’ve been trying to purchase these items, this past week.....nada.

Glad you’re alive....and able to post important info on the CV thread!

Went to Harris Teeter last night. Soap, like all the bars of hand soap were gone. Definitely pumped liquid hand soap were gone too. But, bars of soap. Ridiculous!
Went to Food Lion this morning and found fully stocked shelves of soap. Not sure what was going on at Harris Teeter.

The grocery store this morning had no hand sanitizer and not much hand soap. Guess people don’t understand the difference. Last week they had the frozen foods aisle and bacon, cheese and condiment aisle closed. Today the bacon, cheese and condiment aisle closed. I stretched in and grabbed a Velveeta box just because. Limited purchase signs on cleaning products and cream cheese and a few others. There was plenty of tp. Still no Lysol laundry. Only one can of spinach and no whipping cream. Lots of beer stacked in front of full beer shelves.

Didn’t notice anyone stocking up much. Thought one lady reading every flu medicine ingredients and another who had 4 small packages of tp but that was it.
