Joe Biden's Cognitive Problems
Self | 03-10-2020 | Captain Peter Blood

The issue of Joe Biden's health will become more evident as the campaign goes on.

So let me throw this out there for comment.

Is it possible Biden is having TIA's, Mini Strokes?

It seems his gaffes and omissions are getting worse and more frequent. It will be impossible for this guy to take on the rigors of general election campaign as he is.

My opinion is that it is only a matter of time before he has a complete meltdown, by that I mean a stroke given his health history and brain surgeries.

I agree with you. The first thing is to take Bernie off the table. Then they have to hope Joe can keep the car on the road until the convention. As soon as Joe gets enough delegates they will put him on ice. They my replace him at the convention or make the real candidate the VP.

But I think Joe’s health collapse is already penciled in on someone’s calendar.

I think that Joe Biden is the ultimate stalking horse but I don't think he knows it. When he has effectively eliminated Bernie and the timing is right, the DNC will inform Biden that he is stepping down as the candidate due to his diminishing mental capacity. If this is after the convention, watch who the DNC forces Biden to take as VP. That is the person who the powers in the party want. (Personally, I don't think it is Hillary but instead someone to lead the next generation of Democrats).

I don't see Biden doing his Thomas Eagleton disappearing act before the convention. Too messy with Bernie being able to claim the right to the nomination and also it would throw it open for anyone to toss their hat into the nomination process and the DNC could lose control of the process. I think the DNC wants Biden to get the nomination and then quietly step aside for the VP who the DNC got to hand pick.

Three and a half years ago most of us thought Hillary would not be in as good as health as she is today.

She hasn't had any swan dives that we know since her book tour and tour to India. I haven't paid that much attention to the old hag, but my guess is she isn't really in any better shape to campaign.

Hillary had long down times between public events during the primary and general election to make her presentable.

Dementia comes and goes. I assume Joe Biden is having brief periods of disorientation followed by longer periods where he can compensate for the cognitive decline. The pressure of the general election campaign will be rough on him. I am sure that the democrats have an upbeat, youthful, energetic backup plan waiting in the wings . . .

Joe’s eyes are vacant. My husband just talked to a guy who watched a Biden video from 2012 and a video of him now. He said the difference was unbelievable, and they can forget their message that 2020JOE, is not just Joe being Joe.

I honestly believe Hillary was faking it. I think she made a deal with Comey & Co. that she was ill and would be dropping out of the race, just give her some time and please do not prosecute me, a dying Hillary being prosecuted was not going to happen (also the topic of the tarmac meeting) ...which is why he made his infamous assessment of Hillary’s guilt. Then he realized she had set him up, he then “re-opened” the investigation.

There’s no way Joe Biden makes it to even the nomination never mind the general election

My prediction

The most probable cases that he wins the votes and then he asked to step down and the Democrats just nominate somebody out of the blue as a fall

I’m more interested in the strategy part of this. The DNC doesn’t want Bernie... that’s how you get to Hillary, or whomever they have decided should be the candidate.

Here's the rub to watch out for.

First, watch who is chosen to be the VP on the ticket.

Second, watch what happens if Biden has a "condition" in late September or early October.

The thing, you know, the thing, is that while constitutionally, the Vice President becomes the President if the President is no longer able to do the job (or dies), the same is NOT true for a Vice President candidate. The Vice President candidate does not automatically advance to the President candidate slot if the actual candidate dies or becomes incapacitated; The respective party has to name a new replacement candidate.

The RNC rules (rule #9) stipulate that another convention be called to designate a replacement by majority delegate vote, and if not enough time then the state RNC representatives vote.

The DNC rules have a similar procedure for filling a national ticket vacancy by a majority vote of DNC representatives.

So, the VP choice could be a head fake, since the party can swap a different person after the convention but before the election.

Tricksy, tricksy.

Some details I didn't know.

Of course the Constitution doesn't apply to candidate succession, but the details of what a Party does if it has to switch midstream are something I hadn't thought about at all. I just viewed pushing a limping Joe through the Primary as a goal to get to the convention, where the real work could be done. But, I was ignorant of the formal details.

The DNC, Deep State Elites and $ore$$ thugs know about Joe’s problems.

So, they will try to get him elected and use him like the Dems did with President Wilson after his strokes!

Joe will be like a dummy sitting on their laps. They will pull his strings and move his mouth to fake what he ‘says in the internet’.

The Dems will do the same with Biden as they did with President Wilson. Prop him up and run the country without him in secrecy.

When a secret president ran the country!
Health Oct 2, 2015 1:42 PM EDT

Late on the evening of Sept. 25, 1919, after speaking in Pueblo, Colorado, Edith discovered Woodrow in a profound state of illness; his facial muscles were twitching uncontrollably and he was experiencing severe nausea. Earlier in the day, he complained of a splitting headache.

Six weeks after the event, Dr. Grayson told a journalist that he had noted a “curious drag or looseness at the left side of [Wilson’s] mouth — a sign of danger that could no longer be obscured.” In retrospect, this event may have been a transient ischemic attack (TIA), the medical term for a brief loss of blood flow to the brain, or “mini-stroke,” which can be a harbinger for a much worse cerebrovascular event to follow — in other words, a full-fledged stroke.

On Sept. 26, the president’s private secretary, Joseph Tumulty, announced that the rest of the speaking tour had been canceled because the president was suffering from “a nervous reaction in his digestive organs.” The Mayflower sped directly back to Washington’s Union Station. Upon arrival, on Sept. 28, the president appeared ill but was able to walk on his own accord through the station.

He tipped his hat to awaiting crowd, shook the hands of a few of the people along the track’s platform, and was whisked away to the White House for an enforced period of rest and examination by a battery of doctors.

Everything changed on the morning of Oct. 2, 1919. According to some accounts, the president awoke to find his left hand numb to sensation before falling into unconsciousness. In other versions, Wilson had his stroke on the way to the bathroom and fell to the floor with Edith dragging him back into bed.

However, after those events transpired, immediately after the president’s collapse, Mrs. Wilson discretely phoned down to the White House chief usher, Ike Hoover and told him to “please get Dr. Grayson, the president is very sick.”

Grayson quickly arrived. Ten minutes later, he emerged from the presidential bedroom and the doctor’s diagnosis was terrible: “My God, the president is paralyzed,” Grayson declared.

“First posed picture after Mr. Wilson’s illness, White House, June 1920. Courtesy the Library of Congress.”

What would surprise most Americans today is how the entire affair, including Wilson’s extended illness and long-term disability, was shrouded in secrecy. In recent years, the discovery of the presidential physicians’ clinical notes at the time of the illness confirm that the president’s stroke left him severely paralyzed on his left side and partially blind in his right eye, along with the emotional maelstroms that accompany any serious, life-threatening illness, but especially one that attacks the brain.

Only a few weeks after his stroke, Wilson suffered a urinary tract infection that threatened to kill him. Fortunately, the president’s body was strong enough to fight that infection off but he also experienced another attack of influenza in January of 1920, which further damaged his health.

Protective of both her husband’s reputation and power, Edith shielded Woodrow from interlopers and embarked on a bedside government that essentially excluded Wilson’s staff, the Cabinet and the Congress.

During a perfunctory meeting the president held with Sen. Gilbert Hitchcock (D-Neb.) and Albert Fall (R-N.M.) on Dec. 5, he and Edith even tried to hide the extent of his paralysis by keeping his left side covered with a blanket. Sen. Fall, who was one of the president’s most formidable political foes told Wilson, “I hope you will consider me sincere. I have been praying for you, Sir.” Edith later recalled that Woodrow was, at least, well enough to jest, “Which way, Senator?” A great story, perhaps, but Wilson’s biographer, John Milton Cooper, Jr. doubts its veracity and notes that neither Edith nor Dr. Grayson recorded such a clever rejoinder in their written memoranda from that day.

By February of 1920, news of the president’s stroke began to be reported in the press. Nevertheless, the full details of Woodrow Wilson’s disability, and his wife’s management of his affairs, were not entirely understood by the American public at the time.

What remained problematic was that in 1919 there did not yet exist clear constitutional guidelines of what to do, in terms of the transfer of presidential power, when severe illness struck the chief executive. What the U.S. Constitution’s Article II, Section 1, Clause 6 on presidential succession does state is as follows:

What Joe is doing now goes beyond “gaffes.” He is having cognitive problems drawing blanks on even his own name and Obama’s name.

Joementia and Bidenzheimer's on full display.

If that happens (and it is a very definite possibility), and the substitute nominee isn't Bernie, the Lefties will EX-plode.

I honestly believe Hillary was faking it. I think she made a deal with Comey & Co.

She knew she was home free when the FBI gave her and her cronies the kid glove treatment during interviews and later on July 5, 2016 when Comey gave her a get out jail free card. She has some sort of health issue because she has a history of taking some nasty falls that have caused some serious injuries. I happen to believe it is Parkinson's or something similar.

Hillary would have jumped back in last fall if she was capable. Biden was clearly not up to the task of running for president by late summer.

NEVER EVER APOLOGIZE.

As soon as you waffle they smell the blood in the water and want even more. There’s no end to the demands.

Refuse to apologize and then the hyenas will go away and go after the weaker animals.

Trump knows this. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER APOLOGIZE. F ‘em!
