UFO Whistleblower Who Made Public UFO Reports Accuses Pentagon of Coordinated Campaign to Defame Him
The Epoch Times ^ | May 29, 2001 | Samuel Allegri

Posted on 05/29/2021 9:35:33 AM PDT by Yong

Lue Elizondo, a former Pentagon official who made public UFO reports, says that the U.S. Military, including a top official, underwent a cooperated campaign to intimidate and defame him.

He is the former head of the U.S. government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) which was disbanded in 2012. Five years later, Elizondo made public three UAP (unexplained aerial phenomena) videos which were later confirmed to be true by the military and were under investigation.

“Emotional response” is your label. As is “afraid.” I used no emotional indicators such as exclamation marks, caps, or emojis. Again, if someone is going to quickly leap to those “mind-reading” assumptions and call me unbecoming, why engage with such a person?

I’ll let you have the last word.

scroll about 3/4 of way down where it was investigated as to whether he worked where he claimed he did or not-

https://theintercept.com/2019/06/01/ufo-unidentified-history-channel-luis-elizondo-pentagon/

if you have evidence that proves he did work there- I’d be interested in seeing it

where does this “Lue” spelling come from?

How dare you? Luis now identifies as a Loo, and UFOs now go by the gender fluid “ UAP”.

"it could have been an experimental or even traditional aircraft too far off for details, that sank be,ow [sic] the horizon too.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you have absolutely zero experience in aviation or with maritime navigation and naval combat targeting systems, right? The incident you're trying to explain away as something 'sinking below the horizon' is captured on an FLIR camera on the deck of a littoral combat ship USS Omaha, a navy ship that it outfitted with advance passive-scanned array radar, the GIRRAF system. That system, integrated with a number of other combat and navigation sensors provides the CIC with one of most advanced combat targeting system known to man.

In the video, the radar operator is talking to the COOL, the combat information center officer. You can hear the operator call out bearing and range. IOW, they know exactly what the heading of the object is, what the height of the object is, what the speed of the object is and - the most important one when it comes to directing naval gunfire - what the range to target is.

Neither the operator nor the COOL presume the the object has 'sank below the horizon' and instead both conclude immediately that it's in the water. Why? Because they know what the range to target is and they know what the radar horizon is of their GIRRAF system (incidentally, that system systems can see beyond the optical horizon which is a requisite of directing beyond the horizon SAS missiles). They know that the target, whatever it was, was easily within their radar horizon and that's how they knew immediately it splashed. As a littoral combat ship, immediately being able to identify bearing and mark of a splash like that is a critical mission requirement. IOW, doing what they did is part of their mission brief.

While this is a fascinating subject that involves incidents that often defies explanation even for people who work have decades of operational experience at sea and with these systems, it's AMAZING - in the worst possible way - how people who have no understanding of the relevant subjects think they've figured it out.

I don’t think I’ve figured it out- I’m simply stating that there are other plausible explanations if one is going to look objectively at the issue-

I wasn’t aware that they recorded a ‘splash’ however, this could also be caused by something other than an ‘alien object’ as strongly inferred by folks such as lue- caused by something that simply isn’t identified- -

Here’s another site discussing credentials or lack thereof- some interesting info there:

https://www.theufochronicles.com/2019/06/the-controversy-over-luis-elizondos-credentials-pentagon-ufo-program.html

John Greenewald got into it again, with another posting to his Black Vault website. He contacted Susan Gough, a Pentagon spokesperson. He asked her specifically about Luis Elizondo’s name listed on Reid’s letter. As reported by Greenewald:

“I can confirm that the memo you’re referring to is authentic. DOD received it and responded to Sen. Reid,” Ms. Gough said. She then explains that her office is unable to provide The Black Vault a full copy of the response, since the Public Affairs office does not release Congressional correspondence, but she adds, “It makes no change to previous statements. Mr. Elizondo had no assigned responsibilities for AATIP while he was in OUSD(I). DIA [Defense Intelligence Agency] administered AATIP, and Elizondo was never assigned to DIA. Elizondo did interact with the DIA office managing the program while the program was still ongoing, but he did not lead it.

[[it’s AMAZING - in the worst possible way - how people who have no understanding of the relevant subjects think they’ve figured it out.]]

Folks like Lue and his supporters think they have figured it out too- Those looking for rational answers though want all the info to be able to try to make an informed decision for themselves what it could ‘possibly be’

When i viewed the video, it didn’t look like a splash to me, you can see it ‘blink out’ then you can see it again, then it disappears, here’s the video of it- watch right before it disappears- it doesn’t appear to be a splash- but they exclaim ‘it splashed’- it’s an odd video

"When i viewed the video, it didn’t look like a splash to me"

So, just to be clear - and certainly, correct me if I'm wrong - you do not in fact have any operational understanding of radar systems - targeting or navigational - have not worked in a CIC much less worked as a radar operator or COOL, but you're skeptical of the conclusion these two experienced operators reached?

You're a PERFECT illustration of the point I'm making. You literally have no idea what you're talking about, but you've convinced yourself that the conclusion reached by the two men who have trained likely for years to do what they do, is faulty in some way.

Do you see the problem with that?

ok i see- you’re job on fr is to insult people who are curious about what something might be- good for you- i simply stated that it didn’t look like a splash to me- it blinked out then appeared again, then disappeared- you can see that in the video- I said it was strange-

[[but you’ve convinced yourself that the conclusion reached by the two men who have trained likely for years to do what they do, is faulty in some way.]]

I did not say that at all- you are putting words in my mouth just so you can keep on insulting my intelligent- I simply stated it didn’t look like a splash took place- as you well know- looks can be deceiving- The fact that the object ‘blinked out then appeared, then disappeared again’ as i explained what i saw on the video could very well have an explanation such as water splashing up to obscure the vehicle-

IF you think you can discuss the issue without your arrogant condescending insults- I’ll happily keep discussing the issue with you- however- it doesn’t appear you are interested in being one bit civil-

and for the record- something that isn’t apparent at first glance, the ‘object’ shrinks when it gets to the level of horizon as it blink in and out of view- Here is an analysis of the video and that fact- and it also describes what i saw- the weird blinking in and out of the object

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAfiJqUHDg0

Again- if you want to discuss it civilly- I’ll be more than happy to- something weird happened- but it could be something that has a perfectly reasonable explanation. It could very well be that there was an actual ‘splash’ or it could have been a figure of speech by the people on the video to indicate they lost track of the object at that point, and he said it was a splash to explain the disappearance of the object? (They don’t seem to have tracked it under the water, or been able to- i don’t know- but the video shuts off right at that point- with the fella saying ‘splash, ‘mark it’)- or it could have been an actual splash obscured by spraying water- I don’t know- all i can do is view the video-

Given the talented scientists, engineers and operations research analysts the Pentagon has direct access to, who are already directly tied to the intelligence community and accustomed to solving very challenging often open ended technical and operational problems, it makes little sense why someone like this (a dull crayon, to be polite and with no STEM background) would have the role he claims in investigating this phenomenon.

i posted a few links that discuss that and discuss that the ones involved in the whole production and control of info have a financial incentive to keep the hopes alive- they formed an organization called ‘To The Stars Academy of Arts & Science, a UFO research and entertainment company’

There is a definite ka’ching element involved- here’s the link- do a word search for ‘Star’ on the link to brign you to those involved in it- Delonge and elizondo are both part of that company-

"A career in counterintelligence."

I am immediately skeptical given the fact that the MSM is all the sudden covering this topic in unison, including a friendly piece on 60 Minutes with Lue/Luis/Loo
