Ireland’s a great country but they have too many virtue signalers. Virtue signaling has not taken hold so far in Eastern Europe. Maybe they have developed a kind of resistance like resistance to a virus, because of their memory of communism.

Memory of communism and of having to fight like hell for decades to get their countries back. They’re not about to surrender their hard won national sovereignty to a bunch of global socialists.

I’m half Irish about 3 generations out and have only ever perceived Ireland as unremarkable. Has there ever been anything great about it? Perhaps my judgement is skewed by too much U2 on the radio in my formative years.
