Five people dead, baby found alive at suspected drug party in Colorado
Five people were discovered dead inside a Colorado apartment — where a four-month-old baby was also found alive — after what police are investigating as a possible drug-fueled party that turned fatal.
The bodies of three women and two men were discovered inside a unit at The North Range Crossings Apartments on East 104th Avenue, Commerce City police Chief Clint Nichols said, the Denver Post reported.
Another adult and an infant were found alive, he added.
A substance that “could be described as illicit narcotics” was found in the home, said Nichols, adding that further testing was planned.
“If it is going to be illicit drugs, they were very, very bad,” he said, according to the news outlet. “If it was drugs, no one was able to get to a phone and call 911 for a medical emergency.
“It happened pretty quickly — speculation on my part,” added the chief, who noted that it did not appear the victims died violently.
There also was no indication of any hazardous gases in the area, Nichols said.

It has long been my belief that is exactly the plan.

Every day I read some post or comment touting pot as a wonder cure for every disease on earth...and desperate, gullible sick people, who would otherwise never touch the stuff fall for it.
My wife said those are called skittle parties, like the candy. As a nurse she saw the effects. In the bowl could be anything from crazy street drugs to Mama’s menopause pills. Sounds like Russian roulette.

There should be no doubt at all about that.
They are getting revenge for the opium trade that the British forced upon China.
The Chinese culture sustains vindictive behavior and long memories.
They are also smarter and more subtle than Europeans or Americans - at least in their own belief. That is a viewpoint held by just about every culture regarding other cultures.
The Chinese will use drugs and many other methods to weaken us. From their perspective, we are undeserving barbarians and inferior people, or possibly not real human beings at all.
That is another minor chord found in the songs of just about every culture regarding other cultures.
Do ya think that's an accident? They had a blueprint to follow. China.
How many men addicted during the Opium wars? How much silver flew out of the country to pay for it?
They hit me with it again just before I was airlifted to Sacred Heart in Spokane. And again, I was only dimly aware of the flight. So I suppose it does have its uses.
not so much as “put in there” in regard to coke, meth, pot but... there is major cross contamination going on because at the distributor and street dealer level, a lot of these drugs are mixed/separate/broken down on the same table as the fentanyl laced dope (pills and heroin) and it takes a very small amount of residual fentanyl to make a pocket of say lethal cocaine that was mixed on a table where 20,000 fentanyl pills were just separated.
I’d never shed a tear for any low life scum druggie who died. Unfortunately, they leave a wake of innocent people behind.
End the war on drugs and let the scummy druggies off themselves and leave the rest of us alone.
Humanity will be much better off without such people

I’m in the same boat as you... I can’t count how many people I knew who are dead from OD’s, suicides, and liver failure.. and I’m not old (43). I grew up in a fast scene and we started very young, everyone is either dead or sober... some of the dead are people I was very, very close to.
I was telling a story the other day to my wife and it dawned on me at the end of telling the story that I am literally the only person still alive from the story I was relaying to her.
I have some sort of survivor syndrome complex that I struggle with as two of the dead I reference are my brother and my ex-wife... and so, so many friends.
That was my reaction. Could it be described as anything OTHER than illicit drugs? If not, then don’t write your sentence so equivocally.
Yes, China is at the head of the problem. Also complicit is Mexico and official DC.

IMHO the war on drugs combined with the welfare state are a horrible combination. The welfare state misleads people into thinking that tearing yourself up won't lead to horrible consequences: the welfare state will give you a place to stay and food to eat. It basically disincentivizes personal responsibility -- including drug habits. Before the welfare state there were people who'd get addicted to cocaine or alcohol or pot. But for the most part they didn't let themselves get too into it. Many were what we'd call "functional alcoholics" or "functional cocaine users" because they were afraid there'd be nobody to rescue them from the gutter if they let themselves get too deep into it.
