MOUNT POCONO, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A 28-year-old man was arrested Friday in the Poconos in connection with the murders of four University of Idaho students, law enforcement sources tell ABC News.
Action News has confirmed the man's name is Bryan Kohberger.

I don’t understand your comment about white Hyundais. Cars give your location just like cell phones. There are some in our government who apparently are able to shut down a car remotely. Maybe make it go 90 miles an hour and blow up too.
It’s pretty easy to disable a vehicle’s external communication link, given a basic understanding of electricity.
License plate readers are another matter however....

I’d bet on cell phone. Pull data and identify every phone that was in the nearby area during a certain time range. Like how the Jan. 6 people, and the 200,000 Mules people, were identified.
If the guy has a high degree in Criminology, I think he wouldn’t have a cell phone on him, though.
You need to travel more and make personal observations instead of relying on news media. India for example had 4+ times bigger population than United States. India eas invaded by outsiders for more than 5000 years starting with Aryan nomads. And Arabs & Mongols invaded in large numbers and established empires. There are Hindu, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Persians, Sikhs, Jains and many other minor religions present. But you don’t hear about tribal wars. Bollywood is very big industry and you will see people’s of all religion and creeds working together and inter-marrying. I think people get along better in a capitalist democracy. The prosperity since the capitalist party has been winning elections is amazing.
Some of the comments on other sites are completely outrageous. The masses seem to think this is an episode of SVU and the police will hand out all of the information they have so the internet sleuths can solve the crime and insult LE.

He’s a PhD candidate in criminology, so I would agree with you. If this is the case, did he also wear a plastic suit and booties on his shoes, ala Dexter? He understands DNA after all.
But his suit was ripped by the defenses of his victims. He didn’t count on that. Then later, he thought even that was ok, since his DNA was not in any police database. He drove home and parked his now contaminated car in his parent’s driveway - no problem. They can’t catch me!
But the cops didn’t use only police databases, the also used the genealogical databases to match his DNA. Viola! A match to his family which, together with his nearby location to the murder scene, pointed the detectives in his direction.

With students at Wash St and U Idaho going home for Christmas there could be plenty of false positives.

Yes. That happens frequently now. That’s how they caught that serial killer in CA after 30 years or so. Family members in 23 And Me or similar put them on a path to him.
