The breed of peace
Dogs can be erratic especially around children. Dogs have a social structure and nature and there are rules for interacting with them. Rules that a small child might not understand.
Tough love, maybe
Wow, how usual
The two-year-old provoked the attack by being so innocent and harmless. /sarc
low IQ pit bull defenders..... what say ye?
Lovable and sweet.
Until it’s not.
“And the dog is very lovable too”
Depends on the definition of lovable, which is clear to most people.
Two year olds are never good with dogs. Tgey don’t mix
Pit bulls, we’ll that’s a whole different category
People can just be so stupid
Here is how a pit bulls plays with your kid: bite, lock, and tear. Any questions?
Maybe the dog was trying to get its life back together and was an aspiring rapper?
I was attacked by a family pit bull on a visit.
We had all been sitting chatting together, dog included.
I got up to bring our suitcase down the hall to the bedroom we would be sleeping in… and the dog came flying down the hallway growling, barking, and lunged at me, trying to get at me to bite. Repeatedly.
Fortunately, I had the suitcase and it was a narrow hall.
I blocked him a number of lunges until the owner came running down the hall.
Ballistic denier nylon! Lifesaver.
When will people catch on about these animals? They have been bred to attack and kill.
The last time this happened, the dog waited until the two other people had their backs turned and then attacked the smaller child.
Hitler, Mao, and Ghengis Khan were also very lovable...
Russian roulette is lovable fun...
Pit Bulls are in the same category...
The only good pit bull is a dead pit bull...
Cynophobic much?
Again and again, these dogs have attacked and killed children, but some people just won’t learn.
So much death, especially of innocent children.
“..the boy had been PLAYING WITH THE DOG ALL DAY LONG..”
The dog may have passed his puppy stage a long time ago, but still remembers how to play games with people, but at some point, the dog may have had enough running and fetching and hearing his name yelled out. Somebody should have said,
“OK, Junior, you’ve been playing with Prince for the last hour and a half. Time to give Prince a break for today and do something else.”
Some dogs don’t know how to refuse a “Come and Fetch!” command from anybody, not even from a child.
The animal doesn’t hear a request, they hear a command to obey.
