Boris Johnson: "Biden has taken a difficult but brave decision to supply cluster munitions to Ukraine. He is right"

@BorisJohnson

Joe Biden has taken a difficult but brave decision to supply cluster munitions to Ukraine. He is right. These are terrible weapons. But they have been used by Putin for over a year in his programme of indiscriminate slaughter of an entirely innocent people. The faster we help the Ukrainians to win, the more lives we will save all round. And never forget - it is the Ukrainians who will use these weapons on their own soil, and to protect themselves.

If this is true, and I hope it isn’t, Russia would be within their rights to retaliate against us with great malice. I wouldn’t blame them if they did, either. I would, if someone were arming my adversaries.

“”””but if it was Trump or any GOP President all hell would break loose””””

“The Defense Department had been due by 2019 to stop use of any cluster munitions with a rate of unexploded ordnance greater than 1%. But the Trump administration rolled back that policy, allowing commanders to approve use of such munitions.”

The Trump administration cancels a plan to curtail the use of cluster bombs
November 30, 2017
“The policy change, which reverses a 2008 decision by the George W. Bush administration”

“The 2008 policy would have banned the use of all cluster munitions that have an unexploded ordnance rate above 1 percent. Going forward, the U.S. military will be allowed to buy cluster bombs that don’t meet that standard, so long as they have “advanced safety features” such as self-destruct mechanisms that would kick in after they are dropped.

The Defense Department will also slow its ongoing program to decommission the current U.S. stockpile of cluster munitions until the current stockpiles can be replenished with newer, safer weapons.”

The entire problem with the whole Ukraine operation would have been well-understood by Clausewitz.

The NATO goal is the breakup of the Russian Federation so that its resources can be controlled and exploited by global economic interests [e.g. the economic interests behind WEF, NATO and the forever war uniparty in the US].

This is total war against Russia. But it is being fought by us as a limited war through the globally controlled Ukrainian tools who are expending their own manpower as a proxy to fight this war. And the west thought they could fight a kinetic war with propaganda.

In other words, out of the box it is a failed strategy because the means employed is incapable of knocking the world's largest and most modern nuclear force off of the planet. It wasn't a strategy. It wasn't a plan. It was simply wishful thinking, a nighmare concocted by feverish brains in western capitals populated by transgender Warriors for the Cause wearing fairy costumes.

Yeah....Johnson had many fooled, during Brexit. He’s turned out to be yet another bought and paid for WEF/NWO hack.

Years back, when we lived in Germany, I read a fascinating article in the European press, basically saying that there was really no extant “conservative” party in their UK, for the Conservatives — capital C — had been seduced away by money (financialization of everything) and so lost their constituency of “little people.” From my British friends’ views, I think that was an apt observation. When neither the Conservatives — turning their backs on conservatives — and Labour — turning their backs on real laborers — are the choice in elections, many feel they no longer have a choice. Given our “American” view that there is now a “uniparty,” we experience what they have. The same is true in Germany, where the AfD were despised in the media and yet make slow gains as the media’s ability to support the corrupt in politics withers. May it be so here, as in the UK. The “Conservative” jackass Boris Johnson validating a stupid decision by a “liberal” jackass Biden shows the truth of it.

Yep, Johnson is an absolute IDIOT.

The UK is a SIGNATORY TO THE CONVENTION THAT BANS CLUSTER MUNITIONS. Sure, WE WILL NEVER DO THE NASTY but will cheer you on while YOU DO IT.

No, those measures were adopted only by nations without air power.

They were adopted by Europe's NATO nations. The ones that are against their deployment. Who are the ones next door to the slavic civil war.

You are in favor of direct US military intervention in Ukraine?
You think its not coming? I believe forces are moving to cause it to happen— We have no choice in this. NOTHING is worth a Russian Victory—”As Long as it Takes.” Even if a Million Americans die. We will inch close with each week until all US Nato Troops (joined by a few foolish nations—Like Poland) will be in Ukraine as “Peacekeepers”. Its just a question of time. ALL LOYAL AMERICAN MUST VOW TO DEFEND UKRAINIAN DEMOCRACY. Trump will be branded a Pro-Putin surrender monkey. The Nation is bent on the destruction of Russia—like Rome was to Carthage. But, change is coming, watch as Iran sets off a Nuke. The body politic has gone crazy—war crazy—and its an illness that only ends in blood.

It is a European war, let Europe fight it.

Increasingly Europe understands the threat of Russia.

LBJs involvement in Vietnam was a war crime, No Declaration of war. GWBs war in the Gulf was a war crime, no declaration of war. Biden’s involvement in Ukraine is now a war crime. Only the winner will be able to try the other side for war crimes. We shal see.
