One of my problems with E-Cars is the motor that remains silent while driving. They may want to consider adding some minimum level of operational sound to alert other driver or pedestrians
with vision issues.
To: Jonty30
Too funny, I agree. Only I think the electric cars sound more like zzzzzzzzzzzzz.

What kind of chicks are going to go after a man standing and waiting five hours for his car to charge? I think they’d all be named Karen....just sayin’.
Maybe men prefer gas vehicles because they want to get where they’re going. And not catch fire.

I have a 1993 Honda Element. Bike rack, stickers that say Element “Of Surprise”. “Honda Element As An Elephant”, USMC, and Bicycle Colorado. This is the only vehicle that I have truly loved. Try to take her from me.

Maybe 'Manly' men prefer gasoline vehicles because it's too far to walk to work.

Bullcrap. Manly men, aka employed, don’t have time to wait around for a crap battery to recharge on the way to the construction site.

Your post #7 - I would have used a Marv Throneberry card instead, because I had about a million of those at one time, but the same idea. I have no idea why Topps put so many of his cards in the packages back in the day. Somebody must have forgotten to stop the press after a normal run.

Or maybe real men want a car that actually works.

Yep. My hippie/yuppie Austin daughter has a Tesla, and I love to drive it. But Hell’s gonna be subzero before I trade my Grand Cherokee or Suburban for one of my own.

I don’t want my house going up in a lithium fueled fire.
I also dont like the idea of government utilities being able to kill my ability to drive, or regard my private vehicle as backup power for them if they can tap it.

I’d say a man in a car that can go from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds is pretty manly.
There are lots of pros and cons to EV’s. But to call into questions some one’s manhood is pretty queer.
