The Time Tom Brady (Michigan) Upset #5 Alabama

A favorite, that's twice now that Alabama lost to Michigan in overtime, this time the Orange Bowl.

I don’t recall a controversy over the ‘90 game, but there was a big rhubarb during the ‘79 game as to whether or not Michigan forced USC tailback Charles White to fumble on the one-yard line as he was going in for a touchdown. USC was awarded the touchdown and went on to win the game. That was the fourth game I attended in person.
