Libs always try to force people to go against what they would naturally prefer to do.
Too many times when you try to bring the disadvantaged up to your level, they often end up pulling you down to theirs.
I grew up in New Castle County DE and was in the thick of deseg in the late 70s. We did the exact same thing, shipped a bunch of suburban kids from all around the county to the city of Wilmington and vice versa. Before deseg there was one bad district and four good ones. After deseg there were five bad ones. Public education in New Castle County was never the same. And guess who the young Senator from Delaware was who fought deseg? You get one guess.
Liberals always seem to think they will be immune from their schemes to stay on top economically.
DC votes 90% Democrat, which means the vast majority of the Whites there vote that way.
It’s ABOUT TIME that they get what they vote for.

I grew up in the military. We changed schools (and states/countries) every 2-3 years.
Leftists tend to look at racially integrated schools differently when it’s their kids getting beat up.
Funny. I was living just across the river from D.C. right after Brown vs Board of Education had ended segregated schools.
That basically emptied Washington, DC of white families with school aged children, except for the wealthy private school crowd down in Georgetown.
The liberal High Priests of SCOTUS spoke, but their unenlightened subjects voted with their feet and headed for the Maryland and Virginia suburbs.
Liberals and leftists have always been about compulsion. Some of us can remember those pests spouting “You can’t legislate morality!” but that’s exactly what they have always been trying to do.
