Why Nikki Haley is staying in the race.

Until Trump becomes the nominee, he cannot access general election funds and he doesn't get the security briefings, not having the security clearance as the nominee.

Now that you know what she is up to.

Agreed, except I think she’s actually applying for the top spot on a National Unity ticket. The clue is that she keeps saying the American people don’t want either Trump or Biden, and she purposefully panders for Dem crossover votes. The money she’s getting isn’t coming from donors who want her as #2 on a Newsom ticket; they want her as #1 because they know she’ll do what she’s told, and she doesn’t sound as stupid as Harris or as nasty as Michelle.

She's been privately assured he will either be in jail or assassinated before November.

If Trump's not on the ballot, I'll write in his name.

No Nimarata. No way.

“She is auditioning for the VP slot on the Democrat ticket to create a “ticket of national unity.””

That is exactly what I believe. I think the two parties will come together in the “spirit of bi-partisanship” and run a leftist and a RINO to convince the voters they can “work together”. In reality, it will be the elites working against the average voter.

They attempted to do that for 2024 but without much success. They will keep trying. Heck, the Dems may dump Harris and replace her with Haley. Who could object to such a ticket!!!!

i wondered about the extent of the Dem crossover. re Nikki she is a willing ‘useful idiot’ for the Left, giving them fodder for their campaign ads. Newsom actually said she is one of their best surrogates. i don’t know if she has some hidden animus towards DJT or is wildly ego-driven loving the attention or is building a nice personal war chest to see her through financially until 2028 (her mansion looks expensive to keep up), but she definitely is putting herself over the good of the people. that’s a big X on my scorecard.

Her dropping out would have zero impact on any of this. There is no nominee until the convention is held and the delegates have voted. He would not even become the presumptive nominee until enough primaries have been held and enough delegates allocated to him.

Moreover, he already has security clearance as the former President, and he doesn't have to have "general election" funds - he can raise and spend money in the primary just as much as for the general election and that would carry over. He has less funds than Biden because the Dem base forks over cash and our base sits on their behinds and keeps their wallets closed.

Ross Perot got ballot access in all 50 states in 1992 and 1996. So did George Wallace in 1968. Both men started parties from scratch rather than attempt to win a major party nomination. The access laws may have changed since then.

Who/what denied him of his security clearance? POTUS Potato in 2021.

Oh that's right...well I stand partially corrected to the above...but that sill had nothing to do with whether or not any candidate drops out of the primary or not.

Is that suggesting it is a deception for a woman to take her husband’s name when she gets married?

Let’s engage in legitimate criticisms - whoever came up with that graphic has issues if they think it is wrong for a woman to take the husband’s name upon marriage and it is a conspiracy for her to have done so.

Knowing how dirty a dirtbag like Barry has long dealt and played his hand, one would have to check PDJT’s previous (pro-PDJT) briefers (which do exist), to see whether any have met with unfortunate events, e.g,. accidents, litigation, health issues.

I’m sure those few brave souls have not come through Biden’s term unscathed. It’s all tantamount and parallel to the arrests, attempted fraudulent jailing, financial ruin, election interference and attempts at assassination that PDJT has had to face.

She will jump to the no-name party and run as a third party “spoiler” with democrat money.

I say let her burn that never-trumper cash.

That’ll give them less to use when he’s in office for lincoln project ads, etc..

I think she will team up with Liz and run as a third party spoiler.

That would be perfect! They can run on the Nikki And Zellinskyyyy Internationalist party.

The access laws keep getting tougher and tougher every cycle.

The Democrats have been fanatics trying to stifle third parties to their left.

Perot spent a fortune and had a well organized effort to get on all the ballots—and planned far ahead.

Nikki is not even in his league. Her big donors have no interest in such silliness.

Explain exactly how is the “no name” party is going to get on the ballot in all the critical states?

The Democrats have rigged the ballot rules in most key states.

It takes big bucks, major planning and an army of skilled election lawyers for new parties to get on the ballot in all key states these days.

RFK Jr. is learning that lesson the hard way—right now. Even when he gets on the ballot the Democrats take him to court and lawfare him to death.

At this point RFK Jr. is close to throwing in the towel and pitching his candidacy to the Libertarian Party—who probably will say “no”.

I have a few conservative friends who are normally solid right-wingers and pretty level-headed, tell me that they would vote for Haley because she is less controversial and would get more done. However, when I ask them to explain their logic, they can't. I argue the points of what good Trump really did in his first term, and they fall back on their belief that it was congress who really did that, and it would happen regardless of who was president. So, I counter with "..so why don't you just re-elect Biden?" Their reply is to basically contradict their own argument, and say that we need a republican back in the white house. But, they finish by saying it just can't be Trump.

I don't get it. What is happening to these people? They sound like they are basically confused in their beliefs, and they just talk in circles trying to support their stance.

What you are describing is fear.

When folks act out of fear they get irrational.

What are they afraid of?

Imho they are denial of what has happened to the country in the past few years.

They think they can be “polite” and “compromise” with leftists.

We know that Ozzie and Harriet are dead—and those days are over.

RFK, Jr, may be wealthy, but he is a second generation heir of the Joseph Kennedy fortune and not at the Perot level of wealth. IIRC, many states have “sore loser” laws that would prevent Nikki Haley from running on a third party ticket. With respect to leftist parties, the Democrats partially blame Green Party Presidential candidate Jill Stein for Hillary Clinton's loss in 2016. They are OK with the Libertarian and Constitution Parties, however, as they draw from.the Republican voter base.
