Potential deployment of French troops to Ukraine may be of benefit to Russia — Medvedev
Tass ^ | 3/20/24 | Dmitry Medvedev

MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Eliminating French military personnel that may appear in Ukraine would be a critical but not particularly difficult mission for the Russian Armed Forces, but for Paris such a humiliating defeat of its legions would be tantamount to being guillotined, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said.

"Actually, for the success of our cause, it would be nice if the restless French dispatched a couple of regiments to ‘Banderaland.’ It would be very problematic to hide such a number of servicemen, so systematically eliminating them would not be the most difficult task, but surely the most important one. But, just think of the beneficial knock-on effect!" he wrote on his Telegram channel.

"They would be a hell of a lot harder to deal with than the Taliban or middle easterners."

Until this country allows our troops to wage war without being micro-managed, the U.S. will never completely defeat another nation like we did in WWII. There are too many restrictions on our troops, and too many politicians involved.

They would be a unit, in a very limited area on arrival.
Or they could come in segments on altering days and spread in a forest.

What else have you got?

Russia trains soldiers for 5-6 months, every July and January they train 250-300k. In January 24 they minted 277,000. 250,000 slated for Ukraine in August. In July Russia will have drone superiority and Ukrainian Drone Commander stated these drones will destroy Ukrainian soldiers without losses of Russian troops.

By October Russia will have routed Ukraine.

“...extremely professional and battle hardened from their extensive combat operations in Africa. I wouldn’t want to be a hapless Russian Mobik facing extremely well trained professional French soldiers, or professional soldiers from any NATO country because man for man they are superior to the dross that the Russians send over in meatwave attacks against Ukrainian positions. “

The ultimate NormieCon bravado.

NATO member army prevails over 3rd world rag heads, and FR Goober thinks they are the second coming of the GrossDeutschland.

Every Afghanistan / Iraq veteran who has fought in Ukraine says it is vastly more dangerous and frightening than anything in the MidEast wars.

The BS “superiority” myth of NATO equipment and training collapsed in the minefields South of Orikhiv, during the Counter-Offensive.

I agree, nonsense. But hey, Macron is your boy. I think he’ll do it.

It’s fortunate you don’t know what the heck you’re talking about.
Russia fears bringing any other European nations into the war, much less a nuclear capable France.
Medvedev’s threats are propaganda in hope of preventing French involvement.
Highly unlikely Russia can or wants to immediately target the French and wipe them out. The French would not congregate in a small room and wait for a missile.

Gotta have the expense at extremely inflated cost, how else would they spend all that money?

Cannon fodder. Yes. But other than that, your assessment is incorrect. Even if the Ukrainians ran out of weapons and their standing army collapses, they will still fight a guerilla war against the occupying Russians.

But Macron is threatening to send troops. It looks like he'll make sure the government in Kyiv does not fall. That's his red line.

The French haven’t won a war since WWI. WWII doesn’t count since they were defeated by Hitler and only won on the coat tails of the U.S. army and navy.

Why? Because NATO will follow France within days.

French Missiles fired into Russia will most likely be redirected Ukraine land areas with Russian troops. Putting EU Nation soldiers into Ukraine opens them up to direct conflict.

France cannot go the Russian or Belarus boarder as a red line either.

Look for NATO SecGen to reiterate no single Nation sending its soldiers into Ukraine will trigger Art 5 or otherwise obligate all of NATO to go to war with Russia. NATO will have be more clear than using words like “obligate” and renounce going to war with Russia or things could get messy.

The NATO Treaty had to be approved by the Senate. Any revisions to Art. 5 will likewise require Senate ratification. If the US sits this bastardized application of the treaty out, do you really think the Euroweenies would go it alone?

I think Ukraine is getting ready to perform a massive run like hell retreat before the end of May. When it happens Odessa woll be lost in the vacuum. There won’t be much of a guerrilla war because Poland, Hungry and Lithuania won’t put up it. And the Russian Army will disarm the Ukraine military. The WWII Nazis Wolves didn’t do much after the defeat. Ukraine will broken up and just happy for food.

Vicki Nuland getting the boot required some big mouth to talk, but Macron is facing a strategic realignment with Brics coming to Africa.

FINA Oil is about to be kaput in exploiting African countries. The French people see it for what it is.

Go back two weeks and hear or read for yourself what Stolenburg or whatever his name is talking about individual EU countries with security agreements not triggering Art 5.

If you are dumb enough to send weapons and then you send your troops any use of those weapons on Russian soil is a declaration of war.

The individual security agreement gambit by individual NATO Counties won’t work as they hoped.

She was prattling and posting all her pictures about Russia losing the war yesterday. I’m concerned about Timber Rattler. I hope he didn’t put his honor where his mouth is and take off to defend Avdiivka.

Pat Buchanan warned us about admitting third-rate countries into NATO. He said it was dangerous.

Pat was right.

They’re like yappy, little, ankle biter dogs that agitate and create problems nobody is going to want to start WW3 over.
