The cartoon with Pickering being lynched is disgusting, that's no better than the cartoon showing Bush flying a plane into the twin towers "Social" and "Security"

More blacks were lynched in America than the number of people who died on September 11th.

But the Atticus Finch one is pretty funny...

No, what happen in the Senate hearings was disgusting, and since they (leahy, shumer et al) chose to make race & bigotry a factor when it wasn't, the cartoon potrayed it accurately.

They brought the cross burning issue to the forefront and by inference brought the klan into it.

Interesting comparison. Thank you.

Aww, the moderator is too prissy to allow pictures of the lynchings to be posted (see them here, how old do you think that white girl is on the left?). You can claim Pickering was "lynched," all day long, but it would be too much to show what a real lynching was.

Those photos have been in the public domain for a long time...used in books documenting the racially charged South. As a proud Southerner, I do not feel any good was served by removing those pictures. They are the steroeotypes most of us are fighting against and the same stereotypes the liberal left tried to paint the good judge.

Unlike many in this country today, I can look back at the warts of our past. I prefer not to hide from it. I am not afraid to see what was. Because it is the only way to judge the progress we have made!

I do not usually cry "censorship" when a moderator removes something, but as I said, those pictures are not new. We cannot fight the stereotype until the world sees how the left wants the rest of the country to see us.
