I heard about that. That is just messed up. Nusing past a year old is a bit much, but 8???

I nursed my first three for 18 months... the last six months usually at naptime and bedtime. They didn't have bottles at all. Almost immediately after the first two were weaned I was pregnant again. It's an effective method of family planning.
Kids naturally grow out of nursing as they eat a greater variety of solid foods.... this mother has not allowed her child to grow through normal developmental stages. They are now both warped.
This is as sick as insisting an 8 yr old wear diapers and have Mommy change him all day every day.

You got that right ... there is nothing wrong with nursing but at 8 yrs. old .. SORRY this women needs help
