We all get wild and strange dreams (I had one last night where I was battling ghosts that spread gray fog all around the landscape). Big events in our lives probably trigger some of them. I used to get dreams about running from volcano eruptions after Mt. St. Helen's blew leaving us (at college at the time) digging out from under 6 inches of ash.
But that is a pretty eerie one...given that someone else apparently had one as well.
Here is Tim Snodgress's piece. See the red section below. This current 7.7 could be the "2nd Polynesian quake". Plan accordingly:
Santa Cruz Timothy Snodgrass Santa Cruz Islands Quake A Warning June 21, 2002 Prophetic Report June 21, 2002 – On Monday, June 17, as the world was awaiting President Bush’s proposal for a Palestinian state, a 6.7 earthquake shook the Santa Cruz Islands, 210-miles NNW of Vanuatu Island. Within less than 24-hours, a rare 5.0 quake shook Indiana, just south of the U.S. Great Lakes. What is the significance of these two earthquakes? Exactly six months ago, on November 20, 2001, I received a vision of America being ripped in half like a veil from east to west, and the Holy Spirit spoke to me that "if America wishes to divide Jerusalem in half, America shall be divided in half". In the vision I witnessed a major earthquake along the New Madrid Fault-line which literally divided America in half from east to west, creating a new gulf which stretched from the Great Lakes in the north to the Gulf of Mexico in the south. Six-weeks after this vision, on the first day of 2002 I received another vision of a great quake, this time centered in a separate portion of the United States: The quake – somewhere in the 9.0 range – was centered on the U.S. West Coast. Many freeways ended abruptly, cut off by new lakes which were created by the quake. In the vision the Holy Spirit spoke to me that this great quake would occur "after the 2nd Polynesian quake." Within only a matter of hours after the vision, a 7.3 quake shook Vanuatu Island (1st quake), on January 2. The second quake which the Holy Spirit referred to (of 7.3 or greater in the Polynesia-Melanesia region) has not yet occurred, but I believe that Monday’s quake (the largest in the region since January 2) was a strong warning. Mandate To Pray For President Bush The purpose of this report is not to condemn the Bush Administration, but to present a clear and undiluted word from the Lord. We would like to ask that our readers diligently intercede for the President of the United States. Regardless of what is being broadcast on CNN, keep in mind the President may be working behind the scenes for a biblical solution, which will not become evident till a later date. The sole purpose of releasing the details of this vision is to ultimately avert the event from happening. God releases prophetic warnings out of a motivation of love and mercy, so that catastrophes can be avoided. Notable U.S. Quakes Which Have Occurred Since April 13 There has been several notable earthquakes in the United States since a transcript of the above vision was forwarded to President Bush on April 13, all of which have strong prophetic significance: 1) On April 20, as President Bush's weekend radio address was about to be aired nationwide concerning the U.S. battle on terrorism and his vision for a Palestinian state, a rare 5.1-magnitude earthquake was felt from Buffalo, New York, to Boston, Massachusetts, and Baltimore, Maryland. The epicenter was 48 miles from Saranac Lake, where President Bush delivered his Earth Day message on Monday, April 22nd. 2) On May 13, as the Bush Administration reconfirmed their support of a Palestinian state (after a vote by Israel's Likud party to reject a Palestinian state), a 5.0 earthquake hit the San Francisco Bay area. 3) On June 18, as the world was awaiting Bush's proposal for a Palestinian state, a rare 5.0 quake shook Indiana. Second Vision Of New Madrid Quake Received On June 20, 2002 On the morning of 6/20/02 I awoke weeping and interceding the thousands of souls who were about to perish, after receiving a second vision of the coming seismic rift. As the Holy Spirit took me into the depths of the newly created gulf in the Central United States, I was shocked at how deep the water was. It was a cold, black abyss which dropped perhaps ten-thousand feet into the earth. I could hear the voices of thousands of people crying out to God who had suddenly lost their lives in the quake. The Key To Averting Major New Madrid Quake Is Jerusalem The above event (creation of a new gulf in North America) will eventually take place as the course of natural history, but need not take place in our generation. The key to delaying the formation of this gulf in the United States is Jerusalem. It is extremely important that we keep President Bush and Israeli Prime Minister Sharon covered in prayer during their terms in office. Last week, during my daughters first birthday party, we lit one candle on the cake for my daughter Esther, and one for President Bush, with a prayer that God would clearly speak to him as he spoke to Moses in the burning bush. Three days later, we discovered that my daughter’s birthday – June 12 – also happens to be the birthday of George Bush Sr.! Nothing occurrs by accident. Just as President Bush's father won the Gulf War, his son can also win the current 'gulf war' (a war to prevent the formation of a new gulf in North America). Vision Of June 19, 2002 – Warning Of Nuclear Terrorism There is an immediate terrorist threat to the United States of America, involving nuclear devices which the enemy intends to detonate in several cities simultaneously. This must be avoided at all costs. On June 19, I was shown the terrible consequences of what would occur if these terrorist attacks are not averted: A World War. To avoid war between July, 2002 and December, 2003, the Lord in his grace is releasing a series of significant earth changes – storms, floods, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions – to extend our window of time, for the sake of the harvest. This period of earth changes will last roughly from July, 2002 through most of 2003. Our ministry is calling a 40-day Daniel Fast (no meats or pleasure foods, just fruits and vegetables, juices, water) from June 29 to August 8. During this fast we will be praying specifically that: 1) U.S. authorities are angelically directed to uncover and diffuse every planned terrorist attack. 2) Wisdom for President Bush in dealing with Israel and the Palestinians. 3) We are also suggesting that everyone who participates in this 40-day fast choose one region of the world to intercede for revival (my wife and I will be praying specifically for the islands of the Pacific, which are particularly vulnerable during some of these coming seismic events. We have decided to remain in the Philippines until September. We will not leave until we see revival and seismic-stability in the Philippine Islands and the South Pacific. During our 40-day fast you will find us standing on the sea-shore, interceding that the waves would be calm, and tsunami minimal during some these coming events along the Pacific Ring of Fire.) At the time the first of those events occurred, I was on the roof of my parents house in Tacoma, fixing an antenna for them. And from there, on a clear day (and it was crystal clear that day), you can actually see Mt. St. Helens. All of a sudden, while I'm sitting on the roof, I see this gigantic (and I mean GIGANTIC) plume rising from where Mt. St. Helens should be. Considering that I'm a good 90 miles away from the mountain you can imagine my awe when I see this plume rise up that covers the entire southern sky -- it looked as if some had let off a nuclear bomb over Ft. Lewis (10 miles south of Tacoma). The plume came straight to the north (or right at me where I was sitting) eventually drops some ash on our cars in Tacoma and covers most of western Washington -- and this was a tiny eruption compared to the big one in May.
It was after this intense visual experience that I began to get volcano dreams, and still get them now over 20 years later.

Subject: America sinkingMy 11 year-old daughter Candyce has had a number of end-time dreams in recent months, but the dream last night was the most specific yet. She dreamed that America--the entire continent--was sinking into the ocean. People were screaming and running frantically about, packing up their belongings and loading them into ships which sailing away from the sinking country. She heard people say in her dream that the country was only "one and a half houses" from completely going under. She saw that all of the rivers, streams and lakes were all overflowing with water and the ground shook violently. Our family was loading luggage onto a boat, which sailed away without us. She was aware in her dream that America was experiencing the judgement and wrath of God. Then she woke up.
Her dream made me think of the words of Jeremiah: "Then you shall say, "Thus Babylon shall sink and not rise from the catastrophe that I will bring upon her." Jer. 51:53 And, Rev. 18:21--Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore."
I think the last time it devastatingly faulted, was around the time of the revolution.
Art Bell has this retired geologist on that predicts quakes primarily on tide height (each foot/mile2 is about 1 megaton).
That, and the increase in lost&found ads for missing pets for whatever the locale is.
Then there's the guy that measures the change in radon in wells.
And you can't forget the TV repairman that predicts quakes based on...I forgot. Actually, fell asleep.

In 1988, the USGS placed the Pacific NW hazard zone as indicated on the left above. Six years later the USGS said they were as on the right above.
In January 27, 1989, before the USGS info was released (in 1994), Nita Johnson had a vision and wrote a book about it. Here is a picture from the book. Notice how the Oregon/Washington portion lines up with the not yet released USGS figure above right. Notice also New Madrid.
Prepare For The Winds Of Change by Nita Johnson -- This is over 70 pages long and a big download so I'll excerpt the pertinent part:
"The VisionIt would be wise to consider all of these matters and pray about them.On January 27, 1989, I had been in a spirit of prayer all night and was finally just starting to dose off to sleep. Suddenly, I was fully awakened by a vision of a map of the United States. It was not a vision in my head but was what some call an open vision out in front of me.
The map was in a silvery light and was completely sectioned off into states. just as suddenly as it had appeared, I heard a voice, as robust as the sound of many waters yet with great intensity, begin to give directions. Starting with the West Coast, the voice would speak and that same silvery light would shoot down from the direction of heaven like a laser beam onto the map. The light would follow the path directed by the voice and then effects would follow as I will explain. First, the voice cried out:
'The West Coast, California, Oregon and Washington, starting from the southern most tip all the way up to Seattle, will suffer natural disasters, such as earthquakes, floods and fire, and enemy attack. "The line shot up the map taking most of California and leaving only a small section that bordered on Arizona and Nevada. It went up through Oregon taking about half of that state and then on up through Washington, taking about one-third of that state, then moving out toward the ocean through Seattle. The minute the line touched Seattle, everything west of the line disappeared,
The voice then cried out, "Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois will suffer natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes and tornadoes, and enemy attack. Immediately, this line started at about where Lansing, Michigan, is and fanned down in what became two lines going south first. Then one line swung back up easterly through Ohio, going out over the Great Lake Erie through Cleveland. The other line swung down through Indiana and then headed back up northwesterly and went out into the Great Lake Michigan up by the way of the northeast corner of Illinois and out through Chicago. When it was done, it looked like two "u"s side by side. This affected areas all through the region, for instance, as far east as Detroit and easterly in Michigan to the Great Lake itself on the west. The whole southern part of the glove experienced cataclysmic results.
Next, the voice called out, "Most of Louisiana and all of Texas will suffer natural disasters, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and enemy attack. " The line shot up through New Orleans east of Baton Rouge, up through Shreveport in a kind of wiggly way then cut off all of Texas. Texas disappeared. Louisiana experienced devastation but didn't disappear.
I was ready for this to end, yet the Lord continued.- New York down through Pennsylvania, the Virginias, the eastern Part of Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida will suffer natural disasters of every kind, hurricanes, flooding, earthquakes, etc. and enemy attack. "Then everything that was east of the line disappeared.
The Lord continued, "The Grand Canyon will suffer natural disasters." The line seemed to start at the bottom of the Grand Canyon heading northerly straight up to Montana through Yellowstone. This was also accompanied by cataclysmic disasters like floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, and fires. This affected a substantial area, including Arizona, Utah, western parts of Wyoming, the eastern tip of Idaho and southwestern part of Montana, The regions did not disappear, but experienced utter catastrophe.
Then Missouri, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, West Tennessee, Kentucky, and on it went. There were severe heat waves, hailstorms, energy blackouts, severe snow and ice storms as well as extreme arctic cold spells to the loss of many lives. I saw it so often occur in some the least likely areas, famines, pestilence, plagues, and more. Nevada and Utah were all but destroyed through natural disasters of every kind and ultimately enemy attack. They did, however, remain on the map (Please note that I am not declaring that the states that disappeared fell off into the sea. I don't know why they disappeared, only that they did. Consequently, I am merely relating what I saw, not trying to interpret.)
I was so dumbstruck that I felt numb, even bruised. It was hard for me to pull it all together in my mind. I just sat there in shock. Finally, I realized if I didn't write it down, I'd lose a lot of it as there was so much detail. So I wrote what I could remember Some states, such as New Mexico, were lost from my memory.
